The house itself was fine. Accommodated the 14 people we had well with enough places to sleep. We wanted a place on the water with docks (in the amenities) because we were bringing 2 boats and planned being on the water the whole weekend. I had a conversation via VRBO messenger in March prior to booking for Labor Day weekend, regarding if docks were included and was told yes there were 2 docks and a hoist that would accommodate a pontoon. Great! We booked and had 14 people coming, 2 boats ready for a great weekend! Fast forward to Labor Day weekend…We check in get unpacked and messaged about what docks we were to use, and were told what 2 docks were ours and then told we could not tie the boats up to them????? Then told where the boat launch was, that we would have to trailer in and out our boats all weekend on a holiday weekend!!!!!! NOT WHAT WE ASKED or PAID FOR! I specifically messaged about this before booking! Why in the world would we need docks if not for boats? The whole weekend was about being on the water! We travelled 3 hours trailering boats only to have to do it all weekend. The response was horrible with the daughter who was never spoken to before. There was no trying to make it right, other arrangements, money back?!!!…NOTHING.

We had an amazing family vacation here in August. The photos truly do not do this place justice. It was very clean and had all the amenities you could need. We especially loved the ability to rent a pontoon right across the street, although it was pricey. The view from the deck is beautiful and we especially loved watching the bald eagles flying over the lake each morning and evening. The location of this house is some of the best in all of northern MI. Short distance to everything the area has to offer. Went to downtown TC, many local wineries, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Fishtown, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes etc. We could have stayed 2 weeks and not ran out of things to do. We especially loved the no fuss checkout procedure. My pet peeve is when there is a giant list of things that must be done before checking out, like stripping the beds, taking out the trash, etc. when we’re already paying hundreds for a cleaning fee. We are talking about booking again for next summer!

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our group of 13 girls celebrating a bachelorette party—plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable. The location was great, and the lake access was definitely a plus. The listing pictures definitely don’t do it justice—we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The only downside was that the host did not respond to any of our messages, which made communication difficult. Overall, the house itself was wonderful and worked out really well for our trip.

Very nice house, plenty of space for our group, a few issues with appliances(coffee maker, washer). We rented the pontoon for one day and had a really good time. Downstairs bedrooms were very cold. Overall , we really enjoyed our stay.

The pictures don't do it justice. The house was perfect for our extended family. The house was well stocked, and you get to watch the most beautiful sunsets every evening. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

This rental with Lake Leelanau access was excellent. My family of 13 had plenty of room with 3 bathrooms and many beds. (The half bath in the lowest level is actually a vanity.) The location is close to Leland, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. The photos do not do the rental justice. Some of the beds have changed and the living room is not dark like the photo. We all walked in and said the same thing . . . this is much nicer than the pics. The view was my favorite in the morning and the evening.Overall, we had a very good time and would like to stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL, if we ever have a big group staying in the traverse city area again, we will definitely see if this property is available. Gorgeous house and scenery, great location and just a few short (steep) steps, to the lake.

This home offers tons of space for many to stay. The view from the deck is amazing! It is nice and close to many things to do! The kitchen does have the ability to cook with adequate pots and pans. We did struggle with lack of silverware. Plenty of beds. However two on the lower level were lacking support, making it impossible for two people to sleep in. You rolled to the center of the beds. No support in the middles. Three full baths were great! However bath linens had to be done daily because there were not enough to go around for our size family. The access to laundry was great. It also has two full size refrigerators, which we put to good use! The fire pit is quite a distance from the house proper You do have access to the Lake, but there is no swimming beach there The grill is charcoal, no gas grill. We were able to enjoy many of the areas great features: The Lavender Farms at Old Mission Point Leland Beaches, finding Leland Blues Sutton Bay sidewalk sales Torch Lake Harbor Days Elk Rapids Great home base for adventure My family is large. There were 9 adults and 5 kiddos

What a great place to stay, beautiful view of the lake and close to TC. It was clean and plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and be comfortable. Lots of parking for our family. The pictures on vrbo does not do it justice. Had a trouble with the lock box for the key. Other then that would stay again.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the owner of this property. The owner doubled booked the unit and denied 15 of us entry without notice when we arrived this past Thursday even though we had proof of our reservation. The VRBO support team was very helpful, but we had to find a place to stay on short notice after he denied us access to the property.

This house was very clean and well kept. It has a beautiful view of the lake. It is more updated looking than the pictures show. There was plenty of room for our group of 12. The only thing that we would change is the lock pad to get in. It was a little old and tricky to use at times.
