Stayed Jun 18, 2025We had booked for a 10-day stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, gracious, stately, and oh so comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with anything you would need to cook. We are already talking about booking again next year. The owner and host is delightful and very accommodating and helpful. I cannot recommend it enough.

Stayed Jun 8, 2022I never thought it was possible to have a place be grand at the same time as it was inviting, comfortable, and cozy until we stayed at Kill House. Jackie the owner welcomed us and it was clear from her description that it was a family friendly place and our young children were completely at home. The floors were heated and we were warm and cozy the whole time. The kitchen and bedrooms were very large as were the grounds. The character, restoration and furnishings of this historic home we’re stunning. The location was perfect for jumping off to all places on the eastern half of the Connemara loop for half day trips. We would tell anybody and everybody to visit this unique property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay in Kill house. For an old grand house it was so warm and comfortable and we had to turn the heat down at the rads! The kids loved the size of the house and all the space for hide and seek . We had a fabulous 5 days

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Superb, comfortable and warm house in a beautiful setting and with a very large garden. Large rooms with very high-ceiling. The bedrooms are very large, bright and with superb views. Great supply of hot water with two bathrooms and a big shower room. Kitchen very bright and well equipped, The house was extremely clean and there are some impressive piece of furniture. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure getting to know the host, hear about the house and special to be their guests. We loved it and we had a wonderful week.
