Fisherman paradise on private lake 5 minutes from Helen

Excellent property. Host was very responsive to questions. Beautiful view. Short trip to nearby activities. Went fishing right off the back porch. Nothing big, but plenty of bites, and it was a lot of fun.

We had the best trip. The name says it all... Fisherman's Paradise . Spring break 2026 in the books, in a beautiful property, close to Cleveland and Helen. The hosts were so accomodating to our family. We ll be back.

The place is amazing! Our family enjoyed it so much. There were plenty of clean towels, and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. The kitchen was spacious as well and had everything we needed for meal prep. We especially loved having coffee on the back patio with the beautiful lake view. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Great atmosphere, cozy but with modern upgrades.We need to go back during spring break or summer to fully enjoy the lake

Absolutely, breathtaking, gorgeous place. My grandchildren could not stay off the water fishing,boy do we hit the jackpot for them, it was so relaxing, so wonderful to get up in the morning drink coffee by the lake. Everything you need they have, hostess did a fantastic job. we were very pleased. Definitely would love to come back.

Lake and mountain views were fantastic. Saw a lot of wildlife while relaxing on the deck. Fishing and kayaking were a lot of fun too.

The house is beautiful, and the kids had so much fun fishing, swimming, and kayaking in the lake. The only downside is, there's a lot of road noise all day and night. I will say, the house more than made up for it though. Check in was a breeze, and communication with the host is flawless.

Perfect place for a getaway. Everything that was needed was there. The host Nita was very responsive too. Had a great time fishing with 2 of my sons and grandson. We'll definitely return.

Great stay! Good location with easy access to town. Fishing for Bream is fantastic , take a walk down the yard to find the big ones . Watch out for the big ants .

Enjoyed the house and lake. Spent 5 days with my wife kids and grand kids. Grandkids loved the geese every morning and evening. Fishing is great. Didn’t spend anytime in Helen stayed at the lake house. We will return.

My wife and I have stayed here about 6 times now. You can't beat the convenience of how close the fishing is to the back door. Also it is so quiet on the lake. We will come again.

My brother and our spouses enjoyed our trip. The ladies did the sightseeing and my brother and I fished. We caught all the fish we needed from the patio and enjoy fishing on the lake as well.I recommend night fishing as well for catfish off the patio.There’s a great place to clean your fish.Overall, it was a great time.We look forward to another trip in the future.

The house was wonderful! Very clean, well stocked, great location to Helen’s downtown. Communication with the owners was great, they are very nice. My son really enjoyed fishing!!

Such a lovely home with the perfect view. The home was immaculate, very clean and very comfortable, beautiful home. My husband and I both said it never felt like we were in a vacation rental, it felt like we were at home, that’s the level of comfort and sweetness this home brings.House had everything we needed. Perfect location, only about five minutes to Helen. Very quiet and peaceful area. Loved sitting outside and watching/listening to the birds on the lake. Nita was wonderful with communication. We can’t recommend this vacation rental enough.

Beautiful home located right on the water. Had a great time taking the job boat out and catchin some bass. This was a perfect place for my fiancé and I to take a quick weekend getaway to reset. Loved it!

The property and location was great. Beautiful set up but unfortunately the lake ended up freezing so I couldn’t fish. Will book again in the summer or fall :)

Nice view, great location. Less than 1 hour to get to Tallulah Gorge and Amicalola Falls.

Enjoyed this beautiful and very well maintained and decorated home. Very relaxing atmosphere and property. We very much enjoyed the views and lake house vibes. First time using VRBO and excited to have found such a beautiful place to stay while exploring the beautiful Christmas towns of Helen and Dahlogena.

We loved everything about the house. It was clean, peaceful and relaxing! The access to the lake was the best part and we caught many fish. We would love to come back and visit!

We absolutely loved this place! We used it for our micro wedding and it was amazing, everything I could have asked for with the beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Everyone enjoyed fishing and hanging out on the patio around the fire pit. We will definitely come back!

We definitely enjoyed our stay again just like last summer! We had so much fun on the kayaks, fishing, sitting by the fire pit, making smores, getting in the hot tub, and family time together. We will be back next year!!
