Emerald Lake Chalet - SUMMERTIME!

Perfect get-away location, yet close to town. Had a wonderful time!

Kitchen was fully equipped. Deck was very pleasant to sit and listen to birds and enjoy your coffee. Lake was closed for fishing which was not what we thought so we went to a different lake for our fishing. Lots of stairs up to residence.

It is a funky and adorable cabin, paddleboat and kayaks were a hit with everyone. Well equipped kitchen and lots of games.

Sweet place. Very clean. Dishwasher and pull-out couch were broken but we were fine hand-washing. View is beautiful.

Stayed here for 5 days, everything was great, the property was beautiful. I will say parking wasn’t great but I’d say it’s worth it.

What a great little hide away with an amazing view of the lake. The parking is very tight esp for large SUV but we fit and the home is super cute cabin vibe and very clean. We had more than enough room for four people yet still had amazing dinners and cozy family movie nights. Best part for us though was the gift basket on arrival. We had traveled quite far and did not arrive until 1230a so everything included was 1. Not expected at all 2. The Ultimate life saver and such a welcoming touch. We hope to visit this home often as it is a perfect stay if visiting western washington university.

We had a terrific two night stay at Emerald Lake Chalet. Everything was as described in the listing and photos. The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the “Welcome” bottle of wine left for us! Loved the kayaks and went out on the lake for a paddle the afternoon of our arrival. Very peaceful! The owner was easy to communicate with and gave helpful directions to the chalet. Highly recommended!

Ladder to dock dangerous, especially when exiting from lake.

Gorgeous, peaceful lake location with beautiful views, decks, balconies and big windows. Cozy cabin will all the amenities we could have asked for, including great boating equipment for the lake. Loved that this lake is non-motorized craft only and no driving around it, because it was all wildlife sounds and quiet for our weekend retreat.

Perfect stay! Property was everything we had hoped it would be and had everything we needed. Close enough to hiking and exploring, but also nice and secluded to spend our afternoons hanging out at the lake! The kids loved the inflatables and kayaking.

We had a great time on toad lake. The kayaks were so fun and an unexpected Pac-Man tournament kept us entertained during the rainy moments of the day. The one asterisk on the stay would be the condition of the pull-out couch. It is not suitable for two adults to sleep on in its current condition however we were able to make do by placing the mattress on the floor. Otherwise it is a beautiful, convenient and fun place to stay for a small group of people.

The view of the lake is amazing. It so peaceful but still to everthing. We had the most wonderful time.

Outstanding and relaxing stay at Toad Lake. This rental has all the gear you would need to get on the water, fish, and lounge.

Very spacious chalet facing the lake with a big balcony and almost everything you need. Great place for a family to stay for a couple nights. We have had a great time here.

We loved our stay. It was everything the listing promised. We were in the area having work done on our boat down at the waterfront and wanted a change of pace. Our family enjoyed the location, the premises and the view. We would certainly return.

This place is perfect! Very peaceful. The lake is beautiful and the views from the house are amazing! Everything in the house is well thought out and you'll have everything you need. Highly recommended!

This home provided the much needed tranquility my husband and I needed to recharge. We loved sitting on one of the two balconies sipping our coffee while watching wild life.

We rented both units for our multi-generational family group for 2 nights in April. Had the most beautiful weather and enjoyed all the lake activities (boating, fishing, etc.). We would love to come back again!

A good place to get away and not think.

We loved the place and would love to return especially in summer to take advantage of the lake and activities. We would like to start a Thanksgiving tradition and return next year.

My wife and I (60s) and youngest son (30) really enjoyed staying here while visiting our oldest son and his wife and friends. The cottage was clean and well stocked and roomy enough to host a dinner and games for 7 adults. There is a very nice view of the lake. It was too rainy to do much on the lake but nice to have that option. Please note that there are many steep steps to get to the unit and not for those with any kind of issues, but, its also what gives you a nice view and keeps you secluded. We recommend this place and will try to stay here again next time.

Incredible views! We had a wonderful time at this house. We loved the area and the views! The leaves are just turning now and there are so many hikes in the area. We also took advantage of the kayaks and canoes. The house is well stocked for cooking your own meals if you want to and the washer/dryer was very handy. Highly recommended!

Tranquil spot great terraces & view. Too cool for swimming in fall, will return next time in summer. Stairs may be a challenge for older folks

Family fun
