Ellicottville all-Season chalet

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’ll need. But the hot tub was just not getting as hot as we wanted it. The host did call somebody out and had him look at the hot tub and checked the hot water as we all had to take cold showers. Overall it was a great stay and a very nice property. High recommended and will definitely book again.

Great communication with owner. Great house that was perfect for our group of both adults and a few children.

My group of 8 had a great stay here at the Roosters Den on our ski trip. The house was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out with room for more. We took advantage of the hot tub as well as the pool table. We also utilized the kitchen daily and it was stocked up with any dish and cookware you would need. The view from the porches was awesome too. We were 10-15 minutes from Ellicottville which was a very lovely town. David was a great host and very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large group!

We love this house! It accommodates 14 of us comfortably. Plenty of parking. The owner responded immediately when we texted him about a small issue. Not far from town. Great place!!

The property and especially the views are spectacular It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with kitchen equipment. Nice game room, and wet bar and plenty of room around the fire pit with firewood provided!!! The owner was readily available for any questions. This was our 4 th consecutive year sub Roosters Den and look forward to going again next year

Host was quick to answer questions. Lots of beds. Not enough seats for dining with large groups, but you can split into groups using the counter seating and small table in the living room.

House was absolutely perfect for our group! Plenty of amenities and space to spread out. Location was less than 10 minutes from town and we loved the gorgeous deck! Such kind hosts too! 10/10. :)

This was an amazing location for our family to gather from all over. The property was just as described. There's a lot for younger and older children to do. The kitchen was well-furnished.The cleaning before we arrived lacked. It was OK, but not like we'd expected, but we know it must be a challenge turning it around for the next guests.

We've stayed at another property in Little Valley managed by this owner many times and have been very happy with that house, this year our group wanted to upgrade a bit and so we booked the Rooster's Den. This was a fantastic rental for our group of 8 in the summer and would be even more incredible during the ski season! We appreciated the incredible view through the A frame living room and the wraparound porch, the backyard with firepit, grill and hot tub, and the spaceous kitchen and downstairs game room. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back next year!

Property was very nice. Secluded. Very helpful to have wood readily available. Hot tub was clean and nice. Overall cleanliness of the home was not great. More than half of the dishes we pulled out to use were dirty - had food on them. Toilet seat in upstairs smaller bathroom was hanging off; we had to reattach. Lots of spider webs on walls/ceilings, corners. Water pressure in kitchen sink very low and the sprayer stuck, causing water to spray everywhere. Bad smell upon very walking into the garage entrance.

This was the perfect house for a family getaway! They had everything you could need for the weekend. I would definitely recommend this to others!

The location and views were stunning. However we were bumped by repetitive bathroom issues. We definitely appreciated Dave’s instant responses to our bathroom related concerns.

The house was perfect for celebrating my son's birthday with family and friends. Very spacious, plenty of room for everyone to fit comfortably. Having the hot tub and pool table was great since the weather didnt cooperate. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time as a group staying here. Had a great time as usual. Place was clean and organized. Would have liked to have the porch available to use but due to the snow understand that was not an option. Overall, great time and look forward to renting again next year.

The place is as advertised, but honestly even nicer than it looks on the inside. Highly recommend, would happily stay there again.

Although I was a little anxious for the check-in data, it came with plenty of time to check in. The property owner obviously cares to provide a great experience while staying at the Rooster's Den. Everything was just as advertised-this property is large, comfortable and well maintained. I would definitely stay at the Rooster's Den again.

What a wonderful house! It truly felt like a cabin getaway. The house comfortably accommodated our large group and was well-equipped with the essentials. It was conveniently located just minutes from Holiday Valley tubing and 15 minutes from the ski resort. If you're traveling during the winter, I highly recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The hill leading to the house is quite steep and challenging to navigate without one. They thoughtfully provided shovels in the garage, which was incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this property.

Highly recommend this property. Everything you need plus, plus! We had an amazing time. Super cozy atmosphere but plenty of room for our large family to spread out.

The property wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There was a lot of trash left outside. And the inside needed a deep clean. There were a lot of mice that we heard and actually caught one in the kitchen (we released it back outside and have that on video) There wasn’t enough toilet paper especially since they requested everyone use septic safe toilet paper. Also, you definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up the road to the house.

Beautiful house perfect for our three generation holiday get-together. The kitchen really does have everything. The hill is well maintained and was no problem for our all wheel drive car but, as the website warns, can be too much for a small front drive car on an icy day.

We loved the property but it definitely had its flaws. Upon arrival the lowest level smelled like mold, dishes in the cabinets were greasy & appeared unwashed. We also found a quarter of a large round white pill in a bed on the upper level and a dead mouse in the laundry room. The owners response was that the beds are stripped

It was wonderful. So accommodating. Family and grandkids commented on what a great house it was. We were able to enjoy a camp fire and of course loved the hot tub. Thank you for making this one of the most comfortable VRBO’s we have ever stayed at.

This property is the perfect fit for our group of approximately 15 women. The parking is great! The 3 bathrooms are great! The living space is very adequate!

Great place! Thinking about renting again!

We stayed here with a group of 16 of us and we all comfortably. The house was wonderful and nice & open. It's not too far away from town, but gives a lot of privacy. The upper deck was our favorite and the fireplace. We will deff stay here again!

Everything was clean & well stocked. Kirchen had everything we needed & then some. Place was private, which was perfect for us. Plenty of beds & baths for our group of 9 girls

The property was beautiful! We had 6 families all with young kids and were able to comfortably relax for a weekend get away. Bonus of being close to downtown Ellicotville allowing us to take advantage of taste of Ellicotville

This house is spacious with lots of sleep configurations. Our group of nine adults and a few kids was very comfortable. Kitchen is well -equipped and the knives were decent. Basement rec room was a plus because we had wet weather. Hot tub is nice. Most activities were 15 or 30 minutes away. We would stay here again..

Our family of 15 enjoyed the open concept, grill, hottub, and firepit, and other amenities. Secluded but close to town. Property own was prompt with helpful with information. We had a very nice time at the Rooster Den!

Good overall, looking forward to doing it again.
