The chalet was cozy and comfortable. I didn’t not expect this level of comfort in the middle of a forest. The drive from the country road did scare me a little bit.

This is an amazing house hidden in the hills in the woods in the country. Far enough away from everything to feel isolated, but close enough to get to whatever suits your fancy. You definitely will absolutely need 4x4 in the winter, since the driveway is curved and uphill. Communications with the owner were accurate and timely. The fireplace really warms up the living area and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances to use to cook some pretty elaborate meals, if you don't want to go out to dinner. We were there for 7 days and having a full size washer and dryer in the unit was a blessing. When we requested snow plowing, it was promptly done and Jim was helpful with a truck issue that we encountered. All in all the house was ideal for the two of us on a father and son ski vacation!

Lovely renovated home. Very Cozy in the winter and close to everything in Warren and Waitsfeild. Property manager is super nice. We came in the winter with a 4WD truck, still definitely recommend snow tires as the host does! Great stay.

Receptive. Clean. If coming in winter/ mud, know that there is zero chance you'll make it unless you have real chains or 4wd. Nice place.

We (4 adults/2 couples) very much enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen, living room, dining room area was perfect. Two bedroom two bath just what we needed. Enjoyed the deck and the peace and quiet. Middle of nowhere feel but only 10-15 minutes from what we had planned. Great spot, excellent communication with the owners

It was a great place to stay! Checking in was super smooth, place was clean, A/C kept things very cool (much appreciated in this super hot week we had), and it was blissfully quiet. We had zero issues with any amenities. Be sure to PAY ATTENTION to the arrival instructions as Google Maps will take you the wrong way. The host provided specifics instructions to make the drive up easier and they make things a lot easier. I had forgotten them originally and was getting very frustrated with driving but it was my fault for forgetting. Super reasonable check-out requests, book of local info and dining recs included, easy guest mode for TV streaming services, plenty of towels. Great stay in a modern space right in the middle of nature.

House is lovely, decorated with care, very clean, and very up to date. Cozy but not tiny, beautiful but still feels home-y. Yiselle and the property manager were responsive and helpful. Definitely follow their directions for driving - Google continually tried to take us a different way where there was no access to the house - and for getting in and out as the door can be a little tricky. Overall, a wonderful place. We come to the area every year and would gladly stay here again.

My friend and I came to ride horses for two days at the Icelandic Horse Farm in Fayston, and we knew we wanted a comfortable place nearby for the night in between. The Chalet was in the perfect location between places to eat (we had pizza at the Blue Stone) and the stable. And it is LOVELY inside, beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you need, Highly recommend!

The house is set in a groovy little community, and we could hear live music playing from various backyards (not too loud), which made a really pleasant summer vibe. As far as Vermont goes, it is an easy to get to spot. The beds are comfy. The house is exactly as pictured. It is super close to Blueberry lake, which also makes for a great summer experience,
