Cozy Family Cabin in Schuss Village-Book now for Winter Fun!!!

We just finished a great spring skiing weekend at the resort and really enjoyed our stay at this property. House was well furnished for all of our needs, close to skiing, and offers the Up North charm you hope to find in a vacation rental.

The home was perfect for our weekend of winter activities. Great location for skiing, tubing or any other winter activity. The house was what we needed for a comfortable stay. Would return for sure.

lots of space for parking was nice.temperature control in each room was great ! having bathrooms in each room was helpful even tho the showers were quite small for grown men. lol kitchen space was very accommodating . Our grown kids enjoyed movie selections and games ! thx !

Our family had a great time at your wonderful home. Perfect layout for a ski chalet. We had everything we needed to have a great time skiing at Schuss Mountain. And so close! We’ll definitely return!

This is a beautiful place! So cozy, we felt like we were at home. Everything was clean, tidy and ever so welcoming. If we get back to the area we most definitely would want to book our stay here.

Sorry for the late review - this home was perfect for our family vacation - close to Torch Lake, Bellaire and Lake Michigan. Enough room for 2 families of 6.The back deck and firepit was used each evening, plenty of privacy and parking. Thanks for having us in your home.

The place is secluded so it is conducive for those seeking a peaceful and quiet relaxation. The house is neat and fully furnished with bbq area and firepit so it is very nice for family and friends gathering. Also, lakes and trails for hiking and biking are close by so there are plenty of activities to do near the area.

We have a great time staying here. The home was exactly as described in the listing. Having multiple sleeping options with onsuite bathrooms was a nice addition. Plenty of room for groups.

My family and close friends of mine had such an amazing experience here! From the location and size to the pool and everything else this place was flat out awesome! I would highly recommend! 5 for sure!

We've stayed at this property several times as it's a great home with a great location at Schuss. Due to ski season, we've never been able to enjoy the beautiful back deck and fire pit. It was awesome having a holiday weekend to be out back, enjoying nature, dinners and smores!

Everyone had a great time. I think it would have been great to have at least one or two more comfortable seats. We had 7 adults and could not seat seven in Livingroom seats and not overly comfortable. Weather wasn’t best so we were inside a few hours each day. Provided plenty of towels, nice to have 4 bathrooms. Overall had a great trip and would rent it again!

We stayed with two other families and the house for perfect for our group! Very close to the hill so we could go back and fourth during the day. Enough space so we could hang out. A bathroom for everyone! This is our second year here and we will be back!!

Decided to stay in MI between the holidays and chose the cozy cabin. The 4 bedrooms and 4 baths were perfect for our family. Went skiing, tubing, toured Alden, and hiked Grass River. A great get away!

Nice, clean and quiet house

This was our third year of golf, food, shopping and great stories among the best of friends. Will we do it next year; HECK YES !!! P.S. needs some plumbing attn. but we are sure that will be addressed.

This property is in a quiet area of Schuss Village. It is well-kept with modern appliances, comfortable furniture and it is well-kept. There are nine beds, including 3 queens and 3 two-bed bunks, plus three bathrooms. The host was very responsive to a request for help finding an item that was left behind. This unit is perfect for families and/or 6 to 8 adults. Although, the upstairs shower was on the small side and the floor of the shower stall was slippery. Overall, we would highly recommend this property.

We had a great time and property was accurately described. It was a short drive to Torch Lake, Clam Lake and Bellaire Lake. We liked the size of the driveway, that each room had it's own restroom and the secluded property. It was peaceful at night to sit around and have a fire. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our second stay here and it is a nice place ... clean and well appointed ... only things this time we noticed was the upstairs bedroom bathroom the cold water tap doesn't work on one at all and the other is flaky. Upstairs bathroom window crank to not attached. The downstairs bedroom we could not find a remote for the TV. There wasn't adequate amount of firewood for 3 nights of stay. The lock box is difficult to get your hand around to access and was very difficult to open. So just some minor things that would have improved our stay.

This place is clean, well stocked and easily accomodates our needs for cooking and sharing meals inside and out. 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom is wonderful.

My family and grandkids came up for Elk Rapids Harbor Days as we have for the last 20 years. We truely enjoyed this property and are in the process of renting it for 2025. It is by far the best house we have rented ever. One suggestion is to get more spoons and forks. There are currenly 6 of each and not enough for the family. We planned a long weekend to the area to experience torch lake and some of the surrounding areas (Traverse City, Fishtown, etc). The home was clean, well stocked and we had a great time. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others as well.
