The host was very welcoming. The cabin was clean and cozy and met all our needs. Highly recommend! Great area and short drive to Powderhorn.

Vista View was very nice, exactly what a Ski Lodge in the Northwoods should be. The views from the front windows & front deck that look across the woods & up Powderhorn were an unexpected bonus. Had all the necessary amenities, and remained warm & cozy even in -30 temps. Plenty of elbow room for kids/dogs. We did some extra shoveling to clear the front & rear decks for better usage. Reservation & check-in/out operations all good. Maintenance came by in timely fashion when contacted to repair bathroom sink stopper. We will return, but, hopefully without the minus thirty (-30) degree temps every morning ! Thanks TB

This was the perfect place for our family. It had a big yard for the dogs, close drive to the mountain, plenty of space to entertain. The fireplace was awesome and the sleeping arrangements were more than suitable for 7 people. The only thing we would improve would be the cleanliness upon arrival. There was a good amount of dust. Flannel sheets in the bed would have been great as well and shower pressure was low. Other than that our stay was great and we would definitely stay here again, our kids are already asking when we can go to the A-Frame next year!

Nice place. Smelled a little musty in the summer, Clearly a cabin meant for a winter vacation. Still in a great location with plenty of hiking and nature all around. Would stay again and will probably try it out in the winter!

The house had quirks that were manageable. We couldn’t get the front door open when we arrived (the door sticks and the handle works backwards). We saw a mouse and we didn’t drink the water. The cabin worked for our purpose. We were able to access trails and enjoyed our stay.

Great place for relaxing and as a base for exploring the waterfalls (short hikes, but lots of stairs) in Chequamegon Forest. Straight shot up the road to the falls (4 different stops) and Lake Superior beach access (about 20 mins away). About 10 mins from town, so super easy to get any needed supplies. The home was comfortable. It is cabin-like, so there are some cobwebs, dust and bugs, but that was just fine with us. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. There is one neighbor with dogs that liked to wander over to the back deck, but our dogs were inside, so no issues there. There was a lot more detailed info that came though after booking, so if you have any questions before booking, I recommend reaching out to the host. Also, be be sure to check out the night sky, the stars are amazing and fireflies came out to visit too!
