Stayed Oct 2, 2023My husband, dog and I loved our stay at the Chalet. The neighborhood was peaceful and great for walks. The property was great, just as pictured in the listing. They even had some extra toiletries like toothpaste, which we did forget. Hosts were available for any questions we had and were very responsive. Would recommend to anyone!

Stayed Apr 15, 2023We were looking for a nice getaway for our anniversary, and found this little gem while searching .Our main requirements were a hot tub and pet friendly, the Happy Days theme was just a cool touch for us. The chalet stands out from others in the area with a beautiful paint job and well manicured landscaping. It looks inviting and well cared for. The interior is so good, you just have to stop and take it all in when you walk in the door. Exploring all the neat touches throughout was fun, and they are everywhere! From Happy Days memorabilia to a functioning jukebox to neon signs, it's like being in a different era! All the appliances are modern, but are in typical 50's colors and styles. Besides the fun atmosphere, the host supplied nearly everything for a comfortable stay. There was toiletries, a basket of toys for the dog, towels and robes for the hot tub, spices and seasoning to cook with, even a collection of 45's to play on the jukebox. Seems like they thought of everything! Our weekend in the Happy Days chalet was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. We would love to return for a longer stay in the future. A unique and well-appointed rental, it's well worth it.

Stayed Mar 19, 2023We checked in on a Sunday and it was very easy. Lisa provided all info beforehand. The individualized passcode for the keyless entry door is a very nice piece of security to have. Upon entering the Chalet, the accuracy of the pictures and the cleanliness jump out at you. Very nicely appointed and thought out touches in every room. There are a lot of remotes and it takes a bit to figure out the heating/AC piece but once you get it down, its a dream. The wall-mounted AC/Heating units plus the supplemental floor board heaters are a great combination. The kitchen had everything you would need and a good bit of newer items too which was great. The bathrooms were also very nice and up to date. Good water pressure in the shower and just an all around nice bathroom experience. The half bath is a tad small but I wouldn't go without it. The Fonzi Suite was very nice and clean as well, nice writing desk with dressers and even TVs in the rooms which was awesome. The only downside of the Fonzi Suite is that the bed is not comfortable. An upgrade is definitely due there. Otherwise, great room with nice lighting options and even a lantern to make your way in the dark during the night. The Richie Room was also nice and housed the washer/dryer which is also great. The Loft was nice, we did not utilize it but it is a great option for those with extra travelers. Each room had the honeycomb blinds which really takes you from daytime to blackout. I personally thought a standard blind would be nice but that's just me. I found it odd to have to have all this natural light coming in only to shut it out for privacy during the day because other houses around do have a sightline into the bedrooms and living room depending on what you're up to! Outside of the house, which was really great, the neighborhood is nice and you are only a short walk away from a nice brook and the tennis courts, marina and lake the other way. Everyone we came in contact with was nice and you aren't far from some good shops. We definitely hit the Dollar General a few times, Hazel Meat Market and ordered pizza from Pocono Pizza & Eatery. (Try the three sauce!) Nice short drive from Jim Thorpe and Lehigton which provides more dining options and even went up to Camelback way for a visit to the Barley Creek Brewery on our last night. The dogs also had a great time!! Overall, great spot and we'd come back. Great chalet, perfect location and host to match.

Stayed Dec 17, 2022Happy Days Chalet is an amazing place to stay! The chalet was well decorated, and many fun small details were scattered throughout the house that really makes this place stand out. Our visit was during the start of the winter season (mid-December), and we had no issues with the temperature within the building. All utilities and devices worked well and as expected. There were also several amenities provided to accommodate short stays, such as a handful of laundry detergent pods and a few bathroom toiletries. The hot tub was a fun experience while there was snow outside. Lastly there were plenty of stores, restaurants, and things to do in the area. I highly recommend The Happy Days Chalet if you are looking for a fun place to escape to by yourself or with your family!

Stayed Oct 27, 2022This property was fabulous from beginning to end. Everything was immaculate and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to make a meal. The towels and bathrobes were abundant and plenty. There was even a basket full of toiletries . The little touches meant so much. We were so happy to be able to bring our pup . Lisa's extra thoughtfulness (dog bed, blanket and treats) made our Rocky feel extra welcomed. The Happy Days theme added to the fun. We didn't bring children but the area upstairs for the little ones was so cute and I am sure a family would have such a wonderful time. Lisa, we thank you for being so welcoming, accommodating and communicative. We highly recommend this property and will most likely be back again!
