Stayed Mar 12, 2022Amazing PRIVATE Chalet for any getaway! Price was phenomenal compared to other lodgings in the area - and the amenities far superior! Super private and the perfect home-away-from-home for my fiancé and myself while we hiked and uncovered treasures in the surrounding area. So wonderful to have a KING size bed and hot shower to come home to after a days hike! Will definitely be looking at staying here again!

Stayed Jan 16, 2022The Chalet was a perfect choice for our Anniversary weekend getaway. It was modern, very clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed (bring your own food/beverages). The property owners were extremely nice, responsive and helpful. A great location for hiking, wonderful scenic views, and a perfect spot to disconnect. We hope to make it back soon.

Stayed Jul 14, 2025This property was everything we needed and wanted. It is nestled among the trees with great views and is close to everything we wanted to access: hiking and the Beach Club. It was spotlessly clean and cozy and is well equipped for cooking a nice meal. We didn't eat out at all during our 3 night stay and had everything we needed to prepare full meals. The bed is comfy, the shower has nice, hot water and the living room is inviting. We watched the sunrise from the lovely bedroom windows and then moved to the porch for coffee and breakfast. You can tell the owners genuinely care about their place and desire for guests to have a good experience! Communication was easy, and directions were very helpful. We will stay here again!

You can be as busy or relaxed as you want to be in Big Canoe…it was the perfect long weekend! Definitely recommend and will return!
