Casa Guillarmou - Heated Pool & Spa - Splendid

We couldn't ask for more in a property. Clean, bright warm ( November) and stunning views.

Our group of four adults immensely enjoyed our week-long stay at this gorgeous, spacious, quiet, well-equipped, and comfortable home. Communication with Stephane before and during the stay was excellent. He was so responsive and helpful. We loved being only a few minutes away from Castenau-de-Montmiral and in easy driving distance from so many wonderful places to see, such as Albi (Cathedral!!!), Gaillac, Penne, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Bruniquel, and Puycelsi. One member of our group needed to see a doctor for a minor eye infection and was able to be helped in under an hour (with no appointment) as there is a three-doctor practice in town. We'll have to charge you. said the doctor. Of course! And only 26 Euros was better than the cost of such a visit in the U.S.! The air conditioning found in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the shared living spaces worked perfectly, even when temperatures soared close to 90F. The heated pool was a dream and the sunset views from the house were spectacular. This was our 11th trip to France, but our first to the Tarn area. We highly recommend Casa Guillarmou and this region of France.

We loved our stay at Casa Guillermo. It was just like the pictures and more with sumptuous rooms and American kitchen in this old stone farm in the middle of beautiful countryside. Stephane and Geraldine had put some nice Christmas decorations for the season. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and star gazing. The village of Castelnau de Montmiral is literally 5 minutes away with a large pharmacy and a small grocer that has a lot of things including fresh bread. We cooked a lot at home and filled the fridge at the Leclerc in Gaillac, 15 minutes away. We loved the area and its medieval villages perched on a cliff! We also enjoyed the view and the property’s 3 small horses.

The property and house is beautiful and very peaceful. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. It’s very close to wonderful places to visit. The hosts were great. This was a perfect place to stay in the countryside of southern France.

We had an amazing week stay with our family of 5 (3 teenagers) at the beautiful house of Géraldine & Stéphane! Beautiful views al around the house, very quit surroundings; very stylish and comfortable and spacious house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; comfortable beds; amazing big kitchen, dining room; great heated and clean pool; amazing outdoor terrace and garden. Beautiful villages and towns nearby; wineries; nature and peace and quit. Communication with Géraldine & Stéphane went very well and smooth and the give you all the privacy you need. Just everything you can wish for in a house, and we will definitely stay in this house again !! Thanks Géraldine & Stéphane for letting us stay at you amazing house! Marc and Brenda

Fantastic stay, beautiful house and surroundings, amazing sunsets, couldn't ask for more. It's a quieter area of southern France with less tourists, but that's what we were looking for, and still plenty to see. Wonderful hosts and an easy process throughout the booking and our stay, will return!

This property offers Privacy, large kitchen, horses to watch and feed, large yard, away from the city, beautiful countryside and rolling hills, large sizing spaces, decent sized pool, hot tub, any many other wonderful things. The owners are onsite, attached, and willing to assist with anything necessary. If you need to work via internet, that maybe the only issue you’ll have, it’s cellular and a bit slow. Would definitely stay here again!!!

A beautiful, spacious airy contemporary renovation of a traditional stone building with gently valley breezes, shady seating areas, heated pool (and wood-burning fires for the winter). Views to die for, five minutes drive to the oldest Bastide in France and half a dozen more within 30 minutes. And it's got air conditioning! Stéphan and Geraldine are most welcoming hosts with complete respect for privacy but instantly responsive to any problems … and their English is better than my French!
