Casa Colmeia: Your perfect retreat!

Just a lovely well appointed villa in a great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Being there in late September and into October, it would be nice if the pool lights were on as soon as it gets dark. It was after 21.30 when the pool lights came on while we sat in the lovely garden at night.

Good week at this accommodation. Modern interior and we very much enjoyed morning coffee’s and early evening drinks on the roof terrace. Katharine was very helpful and responsive throughout.

Clean and modern house near by restaurants and the beach. Kitchen and all othet rooms are perfectly equipped. We can totally recommend this beautiful place.

Beautiful little villa, perfect location for our family of 3 - mini market & some really good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The villa had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, the mid stay clean & change of towels was a bonus. The only downside for us is that is booked for the dates we wanted next year! Thank you for your hospitality Katharine :)

Loved the pool, privacy, cleanliness, location and facilities I would prefer air conditioning, as the underfloor “cooling “ wasn’t fit for purpose. The rooms never got below 28 degrees, which made sleeping uncomfortable

Very modern well equipped property, great location for walking into town . Near to nice restaurants. Very clean with great facilities. Under floor cooling system not very effective had to make use of the electric fans provided. When using sofa bed would benefit from a lamp in the living room area

Perfect apartment for two couples and perfect location! It had everything we needed and was spotless when we arrived. The bbq was a plus too! Thankyou for a wonderful few days!

Beautiful house, very well maintained. Short walk to the village. We will definitely stay again. Pool heating would be ideal as we couldn’t use it. But it was April!

Katharine's apartment was very clean and quiet and walkable to great restaurants and shopping. unfortunately it was rainy and chilly during our visit so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor space.

Katherine is a perfect host. The villa is exceptionally well appointed, tasteful modern decoration and all the amenities you will require for a relaxing stay. The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean, benefits from delightful private outside spaces, garden and pool, roof terrace and internal courtyard dinning area. The bedrooms are restful and beds very comfortable, the bathrooms are very luxurious and thoughtfully equipped. The location is ideal, a few minutes walk to lovely local restaurants, 10 mins walk to town centre and beach. It’s quiet and very private, you will not be disappointed, we felt very privileged to enjoy the villa and congratulate the owner on providing a perfect environment for a relaxing break. Well equipped, clean and comfortable house with great location. Love the design too! There is a strange noise at night which sounds like someone is knocking on the walls permanently or some kind of heat pump. You hear it in both bedrooms every night. We could not find the cause though.

The paths to shopping, eating, swimming... are very short, but the house is centrally located in a quiet area. The bedrooms, the living room, the two bathrooms and the kitchen are wonderful, as are the outdoor area. In summary, we had a nice stay with 4 people and always felt very comfortable

Excellent place to stay a Carvoeiro and it’s looks better in reality. Very close to the walking cliffs and Walkable to lots of nice restaurants and Bar, nearby beaches. We loved the terrace and private poll. Laundry service is available, that was really helpful …. Katharine was really responsive host and try to solve issues quickly.

Great find. Immaculately furnished and private space with pool, courtyard and roof terrace. Ten minute walk to centre of Carvoeira with nice bars and restaurants within a two minute walk. Floors are cooled but as it was the hottest week of the year when we stayed we had to use the additional fans provided. Responsiveness from Katherine was very timely and booked again already for November.

We stayed as a family with 2 young children, so this place was perfect for a good holiday. All within walking distance ? The house is very clean and tastefully decorated ? Great stay with sunshine and warmth ?️☀️

What a brilliamt find this place was. Immaculately clean. Positioned perfectly, with very easy access to the beach, town, shops and restaurants but not busy. The host was precise with instructions. Easy to find and gain access to. The outside space was perfe t with something for all of us and very secure. Absolutely loved it.
