Boulder Bay Chalet Lakefront - Luxury Lakefront, Hot Tub, Pool Table, Foosball, Ping Pong, Lake View

Boulder Bay Chalet Lakefront was a dream! We had the best weekend and enjoyed the amenities it came with! We celebrated my dad's birthday and they had everything ready before we got there. Everything was clean and safe. It was peaceful and quiet we even got to see a couple shooting stars ✨ The only downside is that we couldn't stay longer because the weekend ended and had to go back home but we're excited to go back once it starts to snow.

The house is beautiful and has a wonderful view. But it’s advertised all over the listing as “lakefront” when it is in fact across Big Bear Blvd (busy highway) from the lake. It is highway-front with lake view, but not lakefront. We were frustrated by an inflexible and antiquated check in process which required us to either email a photo of our credit card or drive 10 extra minutes to a third party location to give them our credit card despite having fully paid on Vrbo. This was after a windy mountain drive with 3 carsick kids while my parents were sitting, waiting at the property, with groceries going bad. We also dealt with some ants at the property (which happens). Long story short—- beautiful home with great view and fun game room. But not truly lakefront.

Property was real nice and cozy for us to enjoy our stay. On another note it does need a little more attention to things like bedspreads/comforters didn't seem to be very clean carpets may need a shampooing. The hot tub has no lights leading up the stairs to it and around it for after dark use. Not all of the jets and lights worked on the hot tub either so we had to switch around. New pans are needed in kitchen. We made it work thanks and stay COOL!!

I am lost for words! The boulder bay lake front house was exceptional, amazing lake views, everything we needed to enjoy our days there were Available, and it felt like home. Im looking forward to our return

The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. The location is amazing - right across from Boulder Bay Park!

This newly renovated 3 bedroom and 3.5 bath is very well kept and comfortable! We have 2 families staying there and nothing beats the location being right across from the Boulder Bay Park! We were able to go fishing which was very convenient. Surprisingly I read there was an elevator but didn't inquire about it until we got there. The only disappointment was the elevator didn't work. They said it did, but there were no rules on how to use it. The button to call the elevator turns red on each floor and the doors didn't open. It was on each floor which would have been super convenient to load/unload all our luggages. However, since we didn't know there was an elevator, we didn't have an expectation. It would have been nice if it did work. The house had great lighting! There are no shades in living room and the master suite. My sisters family stayed in the master suite and said since there was no shades or curtains, it made it hard to sleep pass 6am when the sun came up. I hope shaded will be installed soon. in. The master bath was huge with a big jacuzzi tub and a huge shower! The master suite was amazing with a huge walk in closet which went unused since we didn't stay that long. The kitchen was a great room where my family cooked and hung out by the big dining table. This house is equipped with everything you can ask for! This house is pet friendly and we were able to bring our dog. The house is somewhat secluded around the back but not really a backyard for the pup. And there were no fence to keep my dog from going to the next doors yard. But since the park was right across the street, it's a non issue. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there.

Wonderful family cabin getaway to Big Bear Lake. Great location, pet friendly, clean and beautiful updated home right across the street from the lake. Would definitely return again, had everything we needed!

The house was amazing!! Unfortunately couldn't utilize the washer and dryer they were in bad shape looks like never been cleaned out. And the floors were absolutely disgusting! Arcade is unfortunately also broken down hardly use the games.
