Bear Pause, a perfect family vacation home, minutes from attractions!

My friends and I rented this cabin for a night to celebrate the holidays as a group! This place is beautiful! As we stayed on January 1st there were Christmas decorations still up and they were wonderful!! I cannot say enough good things about this place!! If you are on the fence, I would say go ahead and rent it as you get the entire house to yourself!! I will be a returning customer!! ❤️

Home was beautiful. And very spacious for my family. My grandkids really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and game room. We would love to book again when we decide when we can come again.

Great location and amenities.

This home was a great selection for our group and close to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and what we expected. The decks and furniture could have been cleaner but we made it work with a broom and wet cloth. So in the end it was a great stay.

This was a beautiful cabin! Stocked with everything you need! It was clean and had great space for everyone! We enjoyed the hot tub and master bedroom area was so nice and secluded from rest of home! Will definitely be back!

Great property to spend time with friends or family. Plenty to do. Lots of space. Secluded while being 5 minutes from everything. Host was quick to respond and assist. Will stay again.

The host and amenities were awesome. The trash situation is untenable. The dumpster our host told us to use for overflow was packed too so we ended up having to leave two bags on the outside box BUT I believe this could be fixed by a regular garbage pick up for the neighborhood.

This was an absolute beautiful and perfect place for our 6! Close to everything pigeon forge and lots to do without even leaving the cabin!

Really nice place to stay. Really close to all attractions but secluded enough to make you feel alone. Owners were very nice and easy to get in touch with. They decorated for Christmas which made it feel like home. Pool table, game machine and hot tub so your never board. We were very happy and this home is definitely on our list!

The house was very clean, easy access. The beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there.Nice neighborhood location was great minutes from town. We all had a great time. Will be visanting again.Would recommend this property to any family.

Every thing is good but the grill and bear turn over garbage can

We had the most AMAZING stay at Bear Pause! The cabin is super close to everything literally just 4 minutes off the strip in Pigeon Forge. With that being said it was so secluded and private. Even with cabins around it we felt off on our own. The cabin is beautiful. Very well maintained and super clean. There were so many extras we did not even expect. Spices, k-cups, tons of extra blankets. The hot tub was incredibly clean and so much fun to enjoy. We had one little mishap when we checked in with one of the bedroom doors being locked. I reached out to the owners via text and even though they were enjoying their vacation they took time to help us out. They were so sweet and very helpful. We will 100% return to this cabin and have already recommended it to friends. The kids enjoyed the arcade game and pool table, WIFI is strong. Do not sleep on the fire pit outside. We loved having early morning coffee with it on. This was an incredible trip and the cabin was a massive part of it.

I would highly recommend Bear Paws. The house is wonderful. It has three floors. There was eight of us, but the house is so roomy you aren’t cramped up. The grandchildren loved the hot tub and all of the downstairs items to play with. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Bear Pause was the perfect cabin for our family! It’s just off the main road on a quiet dead end by the woods. It was peaceful and private without steep drives or being too far from town.The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable for our group of six. While the gathering areas were a bit smaller than they appeared in photos, it worked just fine for us. We especially loved spending time in the basement playing pool and the arcade game. The multiple decks were a great for privacy and enjoying your morning coffee.It was too hot to use the hot tub this trip, but we’ll look forward to it next time! The cabin was also very family-friendly. We greatly appreciated the pack n play for my 20 month old so we didn't have to bring one. We did bring our own baby gate because there's no door to the upstairs staircase and we wanted to keep her from climbing up the stairs.We also recommend bringing coffee or K Cups (only decaf was provided), travel blackout curtains (helpful for naps and sleeping in), and extra trash bags. The only trash bags there were those already in the bins when we arrived.Everything in the cabin worked as expected (the AC was wonderful during the heat!), and check-in was smooth. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a cozy mountain getaway close to town.

This place was in a great location easy to get to. Everything worked great. We had all the things we needed to be able to make meals. If we were to come back i would definatly stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bear Pause. We were there attending the Ripken Experience with our son. The location was perfect. Close to everything we needed or wanted to do. It was very clean and roomy for our family of six. Owners were very responsive to our questions. We even had a bear sighting. we would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Bear Pause several times and it never disappoints! We love Bear Pause and the Smokies! See y’all again soon!

We had an amazing stay, the home is just as listed. Ms. Tracy responded quickly to a small issue with the hot tub and had someone there first thing the next morning. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was clean and so comfortable. After a hectic day with a 2 year old running around Pigeon Forge, it was a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. It was minutes away from anything we wanted to do, and the Bear theme was present throughout the house, which was also fun with a young child. Would definitely stay there again

It's a great location right off of Wears Valley Road near the main parkway. The home was clean and had all amenities needed. We loved the pool table, arcade game, and hot tub. The host is friendly and quick to respond. Great place to stay.

We stayed for a short adults weekend and everything was nice. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub and plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Close access to pigeon forge. We're very satisfied.

Great cabin decorated an amazing location in Pigeon Forge. Good beds, fun video games, pool table and hotub. Owners respond quickly to questions and concerns. Would definetly stay in there cabin again.

The house was nicely decorated for Christmas…very cozy! We were a party of 8 with a toddler and thought the space was adequate for our needs. No complaints…property was as depicted and exceeded expectations. Hosts responded promptly. We would definitely stay again!
