A-Frame - Sauna, Firepit, Near Ski Resort & trails

Great Stay, Well Supplied, Walking Distance to Big Powderhorn and short drives to lots of other points of Interest in the area.

This place was fabulous and so cute. The hosts were great and the attention to detail in amenities was very thoughtful. They provided some toiletries, basics like coffee, as well as other items. This was the first rental out of many where I felt the hosts cared about the comfort of their guests. Fire pit area was cozy and cute, the game in the kids room was a hit, and coffee on the deck in the morning was so nice. Definitely recommend and will definitely consider staying again when in the area. Our trip was to visit family for graduation. We were able to be close to the festivities while also close to hiking and waterfalls in our downtime.

The chalet was well stocked with supplies and was very child and dog friendly! Super comfy and cozy. Hosts were very responsive and when a maintenance issue arose, someone was there within the hour to fix it.

This place was amazing - everythng we could have ever needed and wanted. Super clean and organized - they literally thought of everything. Towels are all folded neatly, drawers are all organized, they provide shampoo and conditioner and soap - literally everything! Will definitely stay again next year if the race series comes back to Ironwood! Thanks so much for making our weekend the best!!

Amazing A frame! We had a great time staying at this A frame. The unit had everything we needed for cooking and there was space for the five of us. There was nice attention to detail and the beds were comfortable. Great location. Will definitely stay again.

Awesome spot between Bessemer & Ironwood. Secluded but close enough to the towns, trails and lake(s)! Sauna is amazing, firepit is lit, and kids loved the arcade!

We'd never stayed in a north woods A-frame before, so this was a really cool experience for us. House is very clean and there were many thoughtful details put into making it feel like home. The area is so quiet and peaceful and being surrounded by trees added to the serene feeling. There's an awesome fire pit and huge deck to enjoy too.

We've stayed here several times. It's everything you'd want in a place. Very neat and furnished well. Beds are comfy and big kitchen. Oh, a great sauna too and who doesn't like that.Quiet area near the ski hills or great biking/hiking trails.

This cabin was a wonderful base for exploring the western UP. The cabin was more than enough for the two of us and our dog, it could easily host a family. The cabin was very comfortable and the sauna is a fantastic extra touch. We happened to visit during a heat wave but were happy to discover the air conditioning works great. We would definitely rent this cabin again if we need a place to stay in this area in the future!

Our stay was to celebrate our father's life. He had recently passed away. The use of space in this little A-frame was so accommodating and kept us all close together. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area and the close proximity to the Black River and nearby towns. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Perfect spring getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at Rocky Pines! Very clean and cozy with modern comforts. Perfect for our family. Unfortunately Powderhorn Mtn was not open so we couldn't take advantange of the skiing. We hope to try again next year and will definitely stay at Rocky Pines again.

Tom and Patty thought of literally everything that a traveler wants and needs! I don't know what more to say about this home; it is one of the coziest and most comfortable our family has stayed in, and we recommend it to anyone traveling to this area. This place was amazing and offers all the amenities you will need. The location is perfect and in close proximity to a lot of fun places to adventure. (Ex: Cooper Peak, Black River Waterfall, and so much more) We highly recommend the chalet!

A great place to experience the Western U.P. Yooperlite rocks at Little Girls Park at night and the Porkies during they day
