Stayed Feb 12, 2026The hosts were fantastic and super on top of it and friendly! This place was off the hook for a ski trip and great retro ski vibes! Super close to the lifts you can easily walk, has a great set up for ski chalet, and hot tub and steam shower were fantastic! In a great spot in Girdwood and a wonderful gem that anyone spending some time at Alyeska should definitely take advantage of! We are from Juneau and have been coming north to ski for years, but wish we had found this place sooner!

Stayed Mar 21, 2025This Groovy location was perfect for our family. It’s pretty much a straight shot to the Sitz and in a great neighborhood for taking a walk. The house has a really fun, throwback vibe, and while It’s an older house, it needs to be for this Groovy feel. And it embodies the spirit of old Girdwood which is a HUGE thumbs-up . The kitchen is small, but it never seemed to be an issue as it opens right up into the great room. The hot tube is why we chose this property, and it didn’t disappoint; it was private and like tubbing in the woods under the stars. The hosts were fantastic, easy to reach (not that we really needed to), and had good communication. Plenty of towels, pillows, TP, trash bags, kitchen items, accessories that are always needed. We had a great time with our older kids (16, 19, 22), but I can see this place being great for all ages. I think this will be our new “go-to” place when staying in Girdwood. Thank You!
