Stayed Apr 24, 2025Excellent customer service. Everything was clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. A very peaceful place. The bathrooms were super clean and comfortable. We definitely want to return, and our kids were super happy with the experience. If I could give it a 100/100, I would.

Stayed Aug 18, 2024I only did a 4 star because of the fact that it was not mentioned anywhere that if you do not have your own vehicle you are basically stranded there. There are no taxi's and Uber/lift is not always available, like very rare. So if you are relying on that to get around, you will be very frustrated and possibly stranded. One guest that was there for auber over to the Ark Encounter but could not get back. She ended up getting a ride from an employee there. My car broke down and thankfully we brought food and water because you can't get delivery either. And that nice employee at the Ark, helped get us around until it was fixed. Nothing is under 2.5 miles from this location so, walking with 4 children was not the best option. Just be warned. The facility itself was amazing! So beautiful wonderful staff member (Susan) i believe... she helped so much! Went out of her way for us! Thank you! Very quiet, except for the Evac Helicopter that was in and out, it was very cool to see especially for the children, but when it leaves in the middle of the night it can be a little jarring. We had great weather, and really enjoyed the great outdoors and views! Took so many pics. We brought a travel badminton set and the other children and mine had a great time playing. No TV so having all of our card games and things made for great family nights. If you're a camping kinda person, it's way better than a hotel, everything like coffee, tea, plates and things were in the room.

Stayed Nov 6, 2025It was a great first camping trip for the kids. The safari tent was well-heated, included all items we needed and had the perfect decor to make our stay welcoming. Some drawbacks were the mattress (needs a new, updated mattress so you don't roll into the middle), the close proximity to the interstate (the traffic noise at night was loud for us) and the EMF towers that were at the entrance of the campsite. With that said, the care that the owners have taken to ensure the amenities are well-cared for and provide a safe environment for those staying overrides some of the negatives listed above.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025We loved our stay! No kids with us, but several families had kids playing in the yard, throwing frisbee or tossing a ball. This was a seriously cool place to stay.We woke up in the morning with rain coming down on the tent.It was a great morning to snuggle up in those comfy beds!

Stayed Oct 24, 2025The tent itself is super cute and the area is pretty! The bed was comfortable and it was nice and clean. What you don’t know until you are there is… about 50 feet from your tent is the life flight helicopter pad. It’s so close that you can hear and feel it taking off and landing. The hospital is less than a mile on the same road so ambulances coming and going was quite frequent! There is also a train about a mile behind the tents, with an intersection which means it has to blow its horn!! It ran about 4-5 times a night. So if you want to get any sleep this probably isn’t a good option! We tried white noise, and ear plugs and the noise is so close that it doesn’t help at all!

Stayed Jun 10, 2025We had five of us staying in the safari tent. We were able to cook our dinners and breakfasts there which was so nice. The bathrooms were very clean. We brought our fishing poles, the pond was so filled with algae that it was impossible to fish. So that was disappointing. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025We stayed two nights with our children. We visited the ark and the Kentucky horse park. We had a blast and the location is 30-45mins from Cincinnati and Lexington. Property was well kept, kids loved the “camping” experience. Beds were super comfy and the bedding is enough no need to bring extras. I would plan the exact same vacation all over again!

Stayed Oct 20, 2024Was a great little place to stay. We spent the evenings hanging by the fire pit. Beds were extremely comfortable. Only complaint really has nothing to do with property owner, but the highway noise will keep you up if your a light sleeper. Would stay again

Stayed Sep 19, 2024Love the idea of the safari tents. The bathrooms were exquisite and clean. The tents were nicely decorated and fun. There were a few issues and suggestions that we gave to the owner. Out of their control was the interstate which did get a little noisy now and then at night and the EVAC Helicopter did have to take off twice in one night and had to return twice. The helicopter pad is about a football field away so pretty close. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was only 4 minutes from the Ark which was awesome.
