The space
We have 3 incredible canvas tent sites perfectly situated on a mountain top, with amazing sunset views overlooking a valley, a pond, hills, and forest land. Far enough apart for privacy, but close enough to host a big group.
This is Site 2.
Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your site includes a 10'x12' canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent, you'll find one queen bed. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up tent that’s provided. You'll also have a picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Adirondack chairs, and a propane heater to keep you warm on those cool nights.
Max Occupancy: 5 people. This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. Additional guests are $10 per night per guest.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet...that uses NASA-developed technology. This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with one of the supplied CleanWaste Sani-Bag (supplied at the camp) prior to use. Afterward, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Camp Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Extras Included:
fire pit with cooking grill, solar heated camp shower, a large cooler, drinking water - a full 5-gallon cooler of potable water filled for you before arrival, washing/cleaning water - nonpotable water access is very close by the car parking area. We also include toilet paper, camp bowls, cups, silverware, and plates for 6, one stainless pot, and one large stainless skillet.
Guest access
Please enjoy our farm! We have nearly 4 miles of hiking trails through woodlands, open fields, along the creek, and even some fun hilly terrain.
Some parts of our farm are fenced from guests to allow our animals to graze in peace. Please follow the signs as posted.

So many wrong things there i didn't know where to start, first of all no pillow and blanket, the tent was dirty, literally you could see dead insects all over the floor, and a weird smell inside the tent. They say NASA-style bathroom. Lol, it's just a portable bathroom with no lights or anything. They say free water and firewood, It's funny that both owner are not on the same page, when we went one owner said is free and another one said need to buy. And the person who deliver was angry since he is one said is not free. The drinking water they provide was dirty and when we asked why the water is little different , they say its well water and not safe to drink. Then why would you serve it ? so stupid.
To start off I think these tents are such a good idea and very neat. These are located in a very pretty place as well! I will say read the ENTIRE description of the rental and click on/view all of the pictures. This is where we went wrong. The bed does not come with pillows or linens. They can be purchased for an extra $ Also the tent is capable of heat, but you will need to purchase propane from the renter and set it up yourself. The posting on VRBO says heat and shows pictures with bedding and pillows. We were very surprised when we arrived after dark (10pm) after a day of hiking and downtown Asheville, that there were no bedding or heat.. We felt that we didn’t want to bother the owner this late at night and weren’t sure if he’d see our message within the VRBO app this late. Between the wind advisory, cold weather (and no linens) , barking dogs in the distance, we wound up sleeping in the car. Like I said it’s a cool place but go prepared with pillows, blankets, towels, and propane.
Had the most beautiful sunset. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Will be back.
