Glamping Cabin the East Tennessee Mountains. Unique experience and off grid!

Someone needs to look up the definition of GLAMPING: this was anything but: bird poop on the sofa, wasp nest outside the screen, empty can of BEAR SPRAY hanging on the wall, no electricity, nothing surrounding you but TREES, nothing safe about it (latch hooks for doors! DANGEROUS hike up/down to the bathroom/shower for older persons, NO power in the bathroom, pee/poop in a bag and take off to destroy, no toilet paper, broken glass on the walkway oitside of the shower/restroom area, and I could say more!!! Totally NOT appropriate for older people. No form of communication due to NO CELL TOWERS!!! These things should be explained when advertised as something young couples would enjoy, but older couples with handicaps cannot manage. It was a total waste of our money, and we were unable to find the property until the day after our checkin date! WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE! Glamping? HaHaHa!!! We are thouroughly dissatisfied with this experience, however, we thank our great and mighty Savior for our wonderful friends camping at Roan Mountain State Park because if it had not been for them, we would have NEVER found the anything but Glamping Cabin we rented, and we would not have had a vacation full of absolutely AMAZING memories!

We read reviews before hand so we knew exactly what the place was like before we booked it. The location is wonderful and private. Cleanliness wise... we wish the place had been swept out before hand. Also we had to remove a bird nest. There were a couple of wasp nests left on the ceiling thankfully vacant. We also decided not to use the bedding because there was tree trash or past nest trash on the bed. We brought our own blankets and pillows. We also brushed the dirt off the fan only to find out it doesn't work. We would stay here again for sure though. We enjoyed the peacefulness of it and slept like babies. We are just hoping that the owner will come do a clean out before the next visit. Also we really loved the outdoor shower.

It was a little cold to but owner had a fire space heater ready for us. Cabins are perfect. We are already taking about planning another trip!!

Cute little place, clean, and cozy. Very remote and stars were amazing! I had no phone reception so it made finding the place a bit challenging. Having wifi or reception of some kind would give more peace of mind in case of an emergency. Other than that loved the place! I had to stop at a gas station and connected to wifi to message the host. Host was good at responding.

The glamping hut was super cute and was just as pictured! The hiking trails behind the hut were beautiful as well. The area was not very private though. We brought our dog and the neighbor or maybe owners 3 dogs continuously came over during our entire stay. The dogs were nice however the dog owners constantly kept coming over to get them, therefore the place was not very private as they kept showing up unannounced. Otherwise our stay was fairly nice!

It's a good little place to go to be alone with family or just quiet time with ur spouse but i highly recommend that you check out the inside of the place before going to bed we had visitors...1st it was the hugest brown spider ?on the ceiling who decided to jump at me then when making the bed we found several ticks, but overall we loved the stay.
