The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost

the yurt was clean and was stocked with whatever you might need! the location they have is incredible!! if you’re traveling with pets, definitely give this place a try! there was plenty of space for my pups for run around and stretch after a long car ride! the fire pit is in a perfect spot to star gaze!!

This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was located from the camp site before we traveled to the camp site. By the time we arrived the owner had built an outdoor shower and private area for the toilet. The shower had hot and cold water. The owner hauld water to us in a big plastic container. What a nice thing for him to do for us. He had cut up enough firewood for us to burn the whole time we were there. He told us if that was not enough, he would cut more up for us. He had trimmed the grass around the camp site by the dear stand. This was nice because we had a tent that we put up. My bf had his radio on in his truck and it ran our battery down. The truck would not start. We text the owner and he quickly came and jumped our truck free of charge. The owner gave us tips on protecting ourselves from ticks. The owner is very friendly and aiming to please. We want to come back next year.

From start to finish, my stay on Molly’s Farm was PERFECTION. I wanted a quick getaway from the city (and ppl)..so I booked my trip and loaded up my dog. Brandon is so kind and accommodating! He and his wife obviously care very much about their property. There were plenty of supplies (minus food, of course), lanterns, firewood and lighter provided! My dog and I had a very peaceful evening by the fire. The hunting blind is SO FUN to sleep in! It’s so beautiful in the morning when the sun shines in the 360 windows of the blind. There is an air mattress and blanket provided as well! My dog and I spent HOURS hiking and exploring the farm and woods. Hiking our way to Molly’s Cabin was super cool! The owners have just begun to make this property into an amazing getaway destination. I cannot wait to go back ASAP! Thank you and your wife both for providing such an amazing piece of Earth for others to enjoy!
