My family of four had such an amazing stay! Hikes in the morning to the sound of babbling creeks (dry river isn’t actually dry). The quaint yurt had all the provisions you could need to stay comfortably and there was a little magical feeling to it. I would still be there now if we didn’t have to get back to reality. Definitely recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat!
Property was well-equipped, clean, warm, and generally nicer that I expected. Hinton is not much, but there’s plenty of walking, fishing, and exploring to be done around the property. It is not very isolated as there is some road noise and many other cabins and homes in the immediate area. The larger of the two streams holds native brook trout, which was a pleasant surprise. The scenery is beautiful, especially the clarity of the stars at night. Very nice experience.
I enjoyed the seclusion near some old stomping grounds of my husband. Truly ment a lot to us!
