The mission of the Yule Creek Lodge is to provide friends and families a place to gather to enjoy the abundant pleasures of life in the mountains.

Located on 53 acres, mostly bordering National Forest, the lodge has a welcoming feel with the comforts of home. In the winter, the cabin gives easy access to some of the sweetest backcountry and nordic skiing in Colorado, along with with big views and privacy. Skin up to Marble Peak or No Name Peak or head to the quiet nordic trails found in and above the Crystal Valley. Plenty of sledding, snow shoeing and adventure opportunities are found all over the property for hours of fun for everyone.

In the winter the cabin is set up like a mountain hut. That means you bring your bedding to put on top of flannel covered beds. Pillows are provided. *No cleaning or linen fee is charged in the winter.

In the summer months there will be linens provided with an additional fee.

In the summer the opportunities are endless. The Raspberry Ridge trailhead is just steps away from the front door. Without getting in the car you can access pristine trout fishing as well as explore the town of Marble on foot. The Yule Creek Lodge is the perfect base camp to explore the Yule Lakes, Lead King Basin, Anthracite Pass, and many other high alpine adventures.

This off the grid home includes running water, a shower, indoor bathroom, refrigerator, gas cooking stove and fireplace.

The kitchen carries enough pots/pans, cutlery, plates, bowls etc. to cook and serve 10 people.

Be sure to get your provisions before you head to the Lodge as the town of Marble is not reliable for food and drink.

Master Bedroom: queen sized bed and a Pack-n-Play in the closet.

This is a fantastic property and the hosts are great. I never had to worry about the communication if I were to need it. (I didn't) Mostly because their guest book and information for the property and area was by far the most informative that I've ever come across. The views were unparalleled and you had better be ready for the most peace and quiet you have come across.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at Yule Creek Lodge which is why we rated it a five star. The house was very clean and beautifully furnished, especially the kitchen, which has everything you could want for food preparation! The mountain view from the deck is also pretty amazing and we spent considerable time out there on the deck enjoying the peace and solitude of the lodge's location. Things that worked less well for us, as two adults in our early 70's, with a 14 year old Golden Retriever, were: 1) negotiating our car on the long steep gravel driveway down to (and up from) the lodge (the suggestion to park up at the main road and carry all of our gear up and down that driveway was not a viable alternative for us); 2) trying to back our car up closer to the lodge on the lower, flatter, two-track section of the driveway which had tall weeds growing down the middle of the two tracks -- the weeds presented a real challenge because they triggered our car's back up alert system, halting the car, until we turned off the warning system in order to finish backing in and unloading our car; 3) discovering that most (all?) of the area's hiking trails were rated D for Difficult, which, unfortunately, was beyond our physical abilities at this stage of our lives; and 4) finding an insufficient number of lights in the lodge strong enough for reading (the kitchen lighting was great!). We're happy that we had the experience of staying at Yule Creek Lodge!

The cabin is wonderful. It is very quiet and secluded which made for a very relaxing stay. We spent a lot of time on the deck and enjoyed every minute. The stargazing at night was beautiful. We got a great night’s sleep on the comfy bed. Cristina is a great host. Easy communications. Highly recommend.

Yule creek lodge is situated in the heart of Marble and has spectacular views! Check in process was easy and the owner responded quickly to me with a question I had. What a lovely home!! Check out slow groovin' BBQ for some delicious food too! What a gem of a town Marble is.

The cabin was comfortable and well stocked with household necessities. You probably need a high clearance vehicle to get past the rut at the top of the driveway. It was wonderful to have such beautiful views of the mountains. We also enjoyed walking down the two-track tothe south side of Beaver Lake and over to Lower Yule Creek Falls. As with any cabin in the woods there are many little woodland creatures so don't leave snacks around for them to help themselves to. All in all it is nice cabin in a nice location.
