I had a great time at this property with my bestfriend. I do wish the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned but we ended up buying cleaning supplies to do the rest of the work in order for our stay to be comfortable. But overall, great time.

This property was very quiet and surrounded by woods. The hot tub was a nice perk. The people who own live on site in a separate part. You get the entire first floor suite to yourself and Denise is very helpful with any questions you may have. It really was like a little home away from home. The bed and pull out are comfy.

It was a perfect location for a small destination wedding with the brides family upstairs and the groom's downstairs with all the small children. The kitchen was awesome with two of everything! The views were great. Gatlinburg was crazy busy though, so avoided going into town.

My only complaint is that I was unaware that this was a basement apartment in the host's house, and they actually lived upstairs. This is actually a big thing though because one of the main reasons I go though VRBO is that there aren't supposed to be on site hosts, and we wanted the privacy. But the rooms were nice and clean, and the hot tub was nice, but again it wasn't private.

The place was extremely clean, homey and quiet. Host was very friendly and accomidating. The only drawback(not the hosts fault) he had to drain and refill the hot tub, due to the prior guests. We only stayed one night so were not able to take advantage of the hot tub. We would totally recommend staying there.

Our stay at this location was amazing. The atmosphere was just right (warm/ cozy / inviting). Our host, Denise, went over all of the ins and outs, made sure we had plenty of wood, even delivered to the door. The location is minutes off of I-40. More importantly with 45 min of everywhere you may want to go visit in the area. Will definitely book again. Thank you Denise for a great stay!

Denise and Larry were so hospitable and really went the extra mile to make our stay great - from tips on where to eat and visit, ongoing communication, welcoming us on arrival, the amenities and most those extra little touches that we really appreciated. It’s a cozy cabin with everything we needed for our stay, it’s thoughtfully put together and has lots of character. It’s in a great spot with a variety of choice for places to visit - or you can just hang out on the porch and enjoy the trees and wildlife on the doorstep.

The property was wonderful, very quiet and relaxing. We're very appreciative of all the extras, the hot tub, fire pit, coffee, snacks, menu/brochures for local restaurants/events, and dog friendly. The location is beautiful and quiet but a quick drive to downtown Waynesville. Denise was a wonderful host. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway retreat. We'll definitely visit again when we're in the area.

My husband and I like to go to The Thunder in the Smokies . In search to find a cabin because my daughter and her doggies decided to tag along. I found this wonderful cabin. It was the perfect price and it's close to everything that we like to do. We love to ride the Blue ridge parkway and that wasn't very far away. It's a cozy little place. Beautiful scenery, and of course dog friendly. The host Denise was absolutely wonderful. Her husband was very great as well. They made us feel welcomed and safe. They also made sure that we had everything that we needed. They also had a nice hot tub. We didn't get in the hot tub but it sure did look good . The only thing that's a little tricky was the driveway it goes up a little hill it can be a little challenging for a motorcycle if you're not experienced .

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The area is absolutely beautiful! The apartment is the ground level of the owner’s home. It was very clean and decorated for comfort. It has a kitchenette (with everything needed), a spacious living room (with a wood burning stove), master bedroom, and large bathroom. There is also a very lovely hot tub and fire pit. They had brownies waiting for us on arrival. The owners are very friendly and communicative. Definitely recommend checking out this property.

Beautiful home and beautiful location. We went for my birthday weekend, we ended up going home early for personal reasons unrelated to the property, but the home was clean and secluded in a beautiful part of the country side. She met us at the door and escorted us in and to my suprise a birthday cake was on the table. This was very heartwarming.

We had a nice stay and enjoyed how close it was to Maggie Valley nearby hiking and skiing. It was quiet and cozy and had what everything we needed. The only downside was a couple things not being clean and having nothing to clean with. It wasn’t anything drastic but a small set back after a long journey of driving.Host was welcoming and very friendly!

My partner and I had the best experience in this cozy space. It was even cuter than we anticipated and the location is an ideal mountain escape, yet close to the interstate (and a short drive to neighboring towns). Denise was amazingly accommodating and even surprised us with a sweet cake since we stayed during Valentine’s day. Very beyond satisfied with our experience and looking forward to staying again in the future.

Very disappointed in this experience. We were refused to refund after the post was not clear that the hot tub was not up and running, there was another dog on the property, and the owner’s permanently lived there. Even though they posted it in the description, it makes it sound like they might not live there full-time. That being said VRBO is advertised as the owners are not on property and that is not the case for this one. That was the whole reason we used Vrbo. The fire pit is also in front of their window so it’s not a very comfortable stay to tip toe around a shared home.

Mountainous location with basic needs for the kitchenette, woodburning stove for heat in the family room and comfortable beds. This host was great! She had the cabin all ready and offered help with maintaining the woodburning stove and recommendation for the area. We went to the area to pick up a tree at Mehaffey Tree Far where we not only got a beautiful tree but met the owners who were very nice and posed for a picture with our Newfoundland dog. And, do not miss Johnny's Pancake House in Maggie Valley. Stay was too short!

The cabin had a bit of weird smell, our company had the room and said it was very strong in there. The listing boasts a nice view but there wasn’t a view at all. The hot tub is on the upper level in front of the host house which is kind of awkward. When we went to shower there were no wash cloths provided. Hostess was very friendly and very accommodating. Next time I book a VRBO I will read more closely, I didn’t pay attention that it was a shared cabin, with the tenants who own staying above us. Overall, it was a nice place, just not a place I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was quiet and peaceful. We could occasionally hear the owners in the floor above us quietly walking about, but it was not bothersome. It was kind of nice to know someone was alway there just in case the unexpected happened. It was very clean and close enough to Lake Junaluska, where we walked our dog each day. You can cook there if you like, but the kitchen consists of a double hot plate, microwave, Kurieg, and small refrigerator. Not a lot of utensils or other kitchen necessities. We mostly went out to eat anyway.
