It truly was a home away from home…clean and cozy! The location of the house is perfect! Convenient to the best of the hiking/biking trails, ski resort, winery, a golf course with breathtaking views and easy drive to Grand Marais and numerous great eating spots. The house was well stocked with everything needed and all beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This place had all the amenities needed for a great stay at Lutsen Mountain. Terrific skiing and just a short drive to the hill. Plenty of kitchen supplies and games for the kids and adults.

This was our third family ski trip to Lutsen and this cabin was our favorite place to stay. The cabin was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The decor and extra touches throughtout the cabin made our stay extra special. The location was perfect for skiing, winery, Cascade restaurant and we even found a lovely church for a Christmas Eve service. Highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back!

Deb is an excellent host. She was quick to answer any questions and was very helpful. The home was beautiful. So clean, new, and well equipped. The location is excellent. It is in the heart of the north shore. We had everything we needed for our long weekend. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the north shore!

Great place right on the golf course.

This property was likely the most well stocked we have ever stayed at. Clean, quality all around, and super responsive to the couple of requests we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Northwood Retreat for the Lutsen 99er. The property is wonderful and the location can’t be beat. Deb is an excellent host.

The cabin is beautiful. Very nicely built and decorated cabin. Beds are very comfortable and the property is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pots/pans and utensils as well as a handful of appliances like coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, blender and a handful of other various appliances. It’s an easy less than 5 minute drive to the main Lutsen ticket office. This property has a nice outdoor space with fire pit and wrap around porch. The owner is very responsive and you can tell the property is well cared for. Our two families had a wonderful time together. There is a closet full of various board games and puzzles we really enjoyed playing together. I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you want to ski at Lutsen or explore the north shore.

Beautiful cabin with easy check in process. The furnitures, beds, towels were all comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms and showers were wonderful. Things are labeled and easy to find. Easy access to ski hill. Host was very gracious and allowed us a late check out and a potential extra night with no extra charge due to a winter storm. We loved this cabin and will definitely be staying again!

Our family of 6 stayed here to ski Lutsen…and we couldn’t be more pleased with this place! Super close to the mountain, lots of space for all of us, comfortable beds. We even braved the elements and walked to the winery across the street one night! Kitchen is well appointed, even had a crock pot! Deb was very communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend—much better than a cramped room at the ski resort!

Adult siblings met at this property for the fourth year in a row to relax, spend time, and reconnect. The weather was mild, the food was awesome, the games were a hoot, and we enjoyed every minute! Thank you for sharing this place with others.

Great location! Close to Gondola, winery, maple syrup stop, Short drive Grand Marais,Oberg Mt.just down the road, Golf course out back door. Northwoods retreat was immaculate. VERY Comfortable beds. Pillows were good quality. I'm picky so brought my own pillow. Deb the host very accomodating. The wood for firepit was nice and clean and practically started on its own. Our stay at Deb's property was awesome! Everything was very clean and organized. The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook anything (most places don't have enough items). It was nice to sit out on the porch and have our coffee. The firepit was nice and close to the cabin. Location was perfect. This was probably the nicest place we have rented (we rent alot), and will definitely come back!

This house is great for our family of 6 - this was our 3rd stay and it was wonderful again. Kitchen is well stocked and organized, plenty of space to relax and play games, love the porch (and covered so good for a rainy afternoon), and the location can’t be beat. Short drive to Grand Marais, winery/cidery just up the road, and many good trail options nearby. Communication was clear and easy from start to finish!

Our family stayed at Deb’s place for the Lutsen 99er weekend. It was the perfect base camp for our weekend. The cabin is beautiful and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked and the living room is a comfortable gathering space. Outdoor spaces are excellent from the porch to the fire pit, everything you could want. Deb is an excellent host. We’ve already booked for next year!

The perfect place to gather our family of adults and one grandchild. The accommodations were superb!
