The property was well maintained and the area was as I thought it would be, peaceful and quiet. Loved the screened in porch and the gaming options that came in play on Friday night. The hot tube was a most at the end of a day of walterfall viewing. In all, we loved our stay at the cabin. A must return visit.

I loved the gas logs with a timer. It was so cozy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Everything was neat and clean, and the bear decor was nice. It was perfect!

We had a very pleasant stay. And enjoyed hanging out with friends, grilling, and using the Hot tub.

Adorable and roomy cabin with incredible amenities just like home. Beautiful hillside setting in the woods with a screened in porch. Comfortable bed and furniture. I highly recommend this accommodation but be aware there is a dirt road to the cabin and steep gravel driveway up to the house. I suggest arriving before nightfall.

The Cabin was well equipped with everything you could think of. Beautiful, clean and very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this cabin in the woods.

The Getaway was better than advertised. One of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations my wife and I have had. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Very quiet and private area but close to down town Blue Ridge. I highly recommend The Getaway and look forward to visiting again. Greg is an excellent host!

The cabin was cozy and the perfect size for just the two of us, although there would have been room for more. We really enjoyed staying up one night playing pool and air hockey. We will be rebooking for next year!

We had a wonderful stay. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The cabin was super clean. The kitchen had what we needed to cook. The hot tub is always a plus during the colder months. Greg, and Jill, the hosts, were great. They kept in touch and gave needed information to make our stay pleasant. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

This was my second time coming here and we absolutely loved it! It was relaxing and we saw so many deer in the mornings walking through the yard!

This was our eighth time staying at this sweet Getaway! The host is beyond helpful and communicative! The cabin is easy to get to and so nice and close to downtown but just far enough away too! The cabin is decorated so well with lots of fun included! We love the pool table and great stereo system along with the wonderful hot tub!Daily visits from the deer top it off! We’ve already booked our next stay! A gem for sure!

Wonderful, clean cabin with plenty to do inside. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Lots of activities and games to keep you busy inside. It is out away from everything but still within 30 minutes of everything Blue Ridge has to offer. Great place!!

The shower in bathroom of the main floor had no hot water. The roads to the cabin were awful. The jets in the hot tube, not of them were in working order and temp did not get above 96 degrees. Overall it was nice.

This property was absolutely beautiful. It was extremely clean and fully stocked with everything you could think of. The views from the wrap around porch are amazing and we received daily visits from Bambi and all of her family. LOL The location of this cabin is so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we added an extra day. I cant wait to visit again.

The stay was amazing. Just what we needed. The house was everything we expected and more. The gas logs were fabulous and I cannot say enough good things about the mattress downstairs. It was phenominal. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great cabin to stay in. There is plenty of entertainment. We played pool, air hockey, and watched movies. It's close to downtown Blue Ridge for shopping & restaurants. The cabin is very well kept and everything is in working order. We plan to stay there again.

This property was perfect for relaxing and getting away from the busy hustle and bustle of our life. Loved having a place that felt like your home away from home.

The cabin has everything you need. Very comfortable bed on the main floor. The main floor bathroom has plenty of counter space and large shower. Only room for improvement is the water pressure and height of the shower head but we made it work. We saw deer either at the cabin or on the road when leaving the cabin every day. The red clay portion of the road had some ruts that would be tricky for a low profile vehicle but suspect that was due to melting snow and rain from the week prior. Would be a great cabin for 2 couples or a family. Would recommend to friends.

The Getaway was just that... a Getaway!! The cabin was clean, instructions were clear, nd we had a great time. It did snow and we seen plenty of deer....no bear!

Clean is the first description!, The place was so clean, and well stocked. Other than our food and clothing, and some personal items, we didn't need another thing. The pool table was a treat, a long with the pingpong and air hockey. Our granddaughters had a great time playing. This location is quiet, and we had quite a few deer feeding around the cabin that we enjoyed watching. I would highly recommend a stay here. David &Kim

We love The Getaway! We booked our trip to celebrate 27 years after our vow renewal. This is our 3rd trip to the cabin and it’s always perfect! Super clean and cozy with everything you could need for a relaxing weekend to unwind, relax and reconnect. Greg is very easy to work with and always makes sure to respond quickly. Best cabin we have stayed at in Blue ridge. Location perfect, cabin perfect, kids loved the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub. Barely left the cabin.

If you enjoy spending time in the forest you will love this house. As an example, my wife was thrilled that we were visited by numerous deer each morning and some evenings. The house has a nice layout for four guests, two upstairs and two in the master downstairs with a very comfortable king. Both bathrooms are nice, but the master bath is especially so with a large glass shower and jetted tub. And of course we enjoyed the outside hot tub each evening. We used the nicely equipped kitchen every night and morning. We were gone most days hiking and exploring the area. My wife did have to work a few hours a couple of days and with the desk in the bedroom and good WiFi connection, that was a breeze.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at “The Getaway!” It was so quiet, tucked away (but within a short drive to town), and clean here. The house was spotless upon arrival so there was no need to contact and property managers. The pool table and amenities were a hit for us! The hot tub worked just fine, and we soaked in it each night. The master bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc. we were so gray. We will certainly stay here again! There were 4 adults total on this trip, but I could easily see this place being “family friendly.” There were plenty of board games, and it was a safe home. Everything was labeled for ease, with notes and instructions. It still felt so homey, but it was functional for first time guests. The washer and dryer worked great too, water pressure was great, showers were lovely. *I would like to note you may need awd or 4wd to stay here. We had big trucks and it’s a fairly steep driveway. We did have to use 4wd* We recommend visiting the nearby waterfalls (within an hour) and fishing in the public creeks. We caught trout and some bass. It was much fun! Thank you to the hosts for your lovely home and making the stay so great.

This cabin was so cozy but also extra so spacious compared to others with two extra large bathrooms. The mountain roads leading to it were extremely easy and gentle, even partially paved. Extra amenities like the lovely pool table and ping pong and hot tub had us even enjoying the rainy days we had. The owner was very communicative and helpful prior to our arrival and everything went better than we could have hoped for. We hope to stay here again on a return trip in the future!

Beautiful location and great cabin, full of amenities! Tons of DVDs and all the streaming you could want. Beautiful pool table, as well as air hockey, ping pong, board games, corn hole. Great jacuzzi on the deck! Close to many awesome attractions- highly recommend Lake Blue Ridge and rafting on the Ocoee!! Host Greg is super helpful too

This property was amazing! Very homey and welcoming. My friends and I had a great time relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool. It was perfect for our get away weekend.
