Stayed Mar 13, 2026Enjoyed our stay at the Hiding Place. The cabin was out of town but close enough to enjoy the restaurants and shops. The cabin was excellent with all the amenities needed to enjoy the stay. Breakfast food was wonderful. We will not hesitate to stay there again. Great getaway for a short weekend.

Stayed Oct 14, 2025We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners had stocked drinks and had fresh pastries for us. Sitting out on the front porch watching the deer eat was delightful. The sofa in the living area was outdated and not very comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely want to go back.

Stayed May 13, 2025We stayed at Your Hiding Place 16 years ago for our first B & B experience. It was fantastic. We have tried 9 more times to book but it was always taken when we were available. We finally got lucky on the 10th time. A super wonderful place to stay. Very clean. Very peaceful. Great food/snacks. Great value compared to other B & Bs. Best price through Gastehaus. Other companies were higher. THE best host anywhere. Glen and Kathi make sure everything is perfect. Our only choice in future stays in Fredericksburg. We give 6 stars.

Stayed Dec 18, 2024Our trip was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and we will be joining them again. They thought of everything. The fireplace was my favorite and feeding the deer. We really enjoyed the breakfast that they had for us and the chocolate cake was made just for us in a heart shape. We really love that as well. They really did think of everything. Thank you so much. Will be back next year for our anniversary.
