We were very happy with Bear’s Hideaway. It’s a beautiful cabin and was very clean.The owner Michael was very good at communicating with us all the details. The kids enjoyed the hot tub while we sat on the deck above them in the porch swing. We saw 3 black bears, a mama and 2 cubs, the very first evening! The bathroom was fully stocked with toilet paper and we had plenty of towels and washcloths. I loved the fact there’s a washer/dryer so we didn’t take home any dirty laundry. Highly recommend with only one warning, the driveway is very steep. Not just any vehicle will make it up, so take your 4-wheel drive.

What a beautiful cabin. Tons of natural light and as spacious as you can ask for. The upstairs porch was our favorite, so peaceful. Had to message the owners because I typed the wrong address into my GPS and they were helpful and responsive.

CLEAN! The moment we stepped in I knew it was going to be great! Everything was and smelled so fresh and clean which is top of my list. The communication was great. The down stairs den/bunk room was perfect for our crew with teens and we enjoyed our nightly pool tournaments!

Location is good but parking is at very high slop so if you have any handicap person in family then choose other cabin

The cabin was very clean, cozy and peaceful. The host kept good contact with me throughout my stay making sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub could have been warmer but it was still very relaxing to sit in

Was wonderfull driveway was kinda crazy but enjoyed the challenge saw black bears on way in and way out!!!

Overall we loved the property. The driveway is intimidating at first, but manageable. The drive back to the property was not what us flat-landers were expecting, but we quickly became acclimated to that as well. The layout of the cabin is unique, and worked well for our group of 7. The kitchen had everything we needed and we felt that the cabin was oveall clean. We gave 4/5 stars on cleanliness only because of cobwebs (on light fixture in living room), and some maintenance needing done outside. The steps going down the driveway need weeded badly. We didn't use them, so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Also the railing on the lower deck needs repaired. Inside pictures were very accurate, outside pictures were slightly inaccurate only because of all the overgrowth of weeds on the property. However, with all that being said we would definitely stay at this place again.

This was the perfect cabin for our annual sister trip! The cabin was cozy and rustic, just what we were looking for. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Very comfortable for the 5 of us.

Bears Hideaway helped our family make some great memories this past week! The hosts were extremely great to work with and even made sure we found what we needed during our stay. We have 5 kids (age range 15-7) that had never had a cabin experience and they had the BEST time! There was plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do between the pool table, hot tub and extra large deck space. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the top deck listening and watching a thunderstorm roll through. It was nice and private as well! The decor was super cute and the name did not disappoint - we saw a bear cross the road about a mile from the cabin. Super cool memories that we will treasure! Thank you Bill and Nicole!

So the heat does not work on any of the 3 floors looks like some tried to burn the place down with the main level fire place cabin is gorgeous and secluded

The lay out of the cabin

Everything about this cabin was great. Everything was just like the pictures. The hosts were the best part. Very communicative, responds promptly, and super nice. The location was one of our favorite parts. This will be our go-to cabin for all of our Gatlinburg/Pigeon forge stays from now on!

Good experience. Location is not too close to any town but overall good experience

Great place to stay. The driveway is a little rough to get up. We had a rear wheel drive truck and it spun the tires quit a bit trying to get up the driveway. If you are in a truck like ours you need to hit the gas hard to make it up the hill. Driving slow up it is not an option. Overall very nice place. Would stay here again if coming back.

The hosts were super, Booking went really smooth! The Cabin itself was ecstatic, the driveway I'll have to say was pretty steep, but you don't have to go up it, park at the bottom and walk up the steps. The view was not great at all but was still tucked in the woods all nice and neat. Overall, we had a very nice, cozy getaway way back in the hills!!

Great place to escape and relax.

Cabin is perfect and very clean. Would definitely book again. The driveway as others have said was intense and we are from the mountains. I have a large SUV and we almost flipped it leaving lol made for funny memories though

Great place to stay

Don't let the driveway intimidate you...certainly steep but our minivan handled it! The cabin is nicely located close to Gatlinburg and GSMNP. Even saw a bear the first evening just up the road. Very enjoyable stay...would come again.
