We were deeply disappointed after a 7-hour drive, expecting a clean space with a cute cabin vibe as depicted in the listing. However, the pictures might be old, as the reality didn’t match. We encountered unsanitary bathroom conditions, a sink still not draining (noted in a review from a year ago), grime in the kitchen, and a dirty carpet—everything needs a thorough deep clean. The bedding was bunched up at the end of the bed, adding to the disarray, and we had to clean the bathroom and make up the bed with bedding purchased in town. Undisclosed construction noise and a water company notice about a delinquent bill added to the issues. No TV services were available (bring a Firestick), only old DVDs for entertainment. We recommend bringing your own pillows, bedding, and towels. Despite contacting the host and Vrbo post-stay, no resolution was offered due to delayed reporting. Future guests should verify conditions upon arrival and report issues immediately.

This house is small, but super cute! It had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds, a bathroom with a hot shower, and a small kitchen.

We were here for work, so it suited us fine, though there could be improvements made to make future stays better. Pros: - Wifi works great. - Cozy cabin vibe with a nice view of a meadow in front. We also had Pinyon Jays in the yard which is a win for us. Cons: - TV turns on, but it’s just static. There are no channels/cable/login options. - Be sure to bring your own ground coffee. We had to run back out to the store for it at 8pm after realizing they only had supplied filters. - Ceiling light in bedroom doesn’t work - Cobwebs along windows, lighting features, ceilings, fireplace. - Bathroom sink drain doesn’t drain well. - Pretty poor pillows. Think flimsy flat cotton ball pillows. - No ice trays - Most rentals have a guidebook with tidbits of info about the place and area, as well as recommendations. This did not. - The neighbors have a donkey - yes, a donkey - that neighs/honks/squeals every so often throughout the day and into evening hours. Fortunately, we did not hear it while sleeping.
