This house is pretty much exactly what it looks like on the website. It's a good landing for people who are looking for good proximity to the lake. It isn't super fancy or a great setup for big groups, but has really good proximity to the beautiful Yellowstone River.
We came and used the cabin as our base and fished up and down the Yellowstone River in paradise valley. The views were amazing, and enjoyed the elk as they put on a show every evening across the river. Loved the fire pit, we used that every day. Great time, thanks!
We do not recommend this property or the management company. The listing for the house is not accurate. The basement has been flooded and only partially remediated. The stench is of sewer and could not be overcome by the 4 air fresheners placed in the basement and first floor. The management company has been mostly non responsiveโฆeven using the company email, contacting through VRBO and texting. Very disappointing.
The access to areas to trout fish were very good. I ended up catching 20 inch plus trout from the Yellowstone. About the cabin. It was well appointed. Electronics need to be updated. The cleanliness was an issue. I was permit for a bunch of trout fishermen. How there were man mice, and the flys in the area were excellent at getting in house. all this said I would stay again, however not sure about my partner.
If you are looking for a Ritz experience, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a true Montana log cabin close to Yellowstone located next to the Yellowstone River, then this is your place. We loved it and already planning our next trip. Thank you Hannah Montana Rentals for an epic vacation we will always remember.
Our family included 3 generations ( 16-68) for 4 nights. I was worried that teens and seniors would not click, but the cabin had enough space for our group to be comfy and my group bonded so well at the cabin. Most stocked rental I ever had. Feet from Yellowstone River. Two bald eagles spent the whole day in the tree across the river. Elk graze in meadow across river. Geese galore! Sandhill cranes and white pelicans in front of cabin. Sparrows flutter around all the time. Comfy beds! Mountain peak views in all directions. 30 min. from Yellowstone North Entrance. We went to Yellowstone NP every day. We all earned a Junior Ranger Badge from Yellowstone NP. We saw 3 grizzly bears , a mama bear and 2 cubs, & 2 other black bears on Yellowstone North Loop. My group whitewater rafted with Flying Pig in Gardinar. Rosaโs in Livingston has great pizza. There is a Yellowstone Hot Springs pool 10 min from cabin that is $15 pp fee. The cabin is worth the money! Book your adventure!
The house and location are great. everything you may need is on site. Hannah was awesome! We stayed the week before in Ennis, and relocated the second week to this house. My wife needed a blender, and called Hannah. It was there waiting on us when we arrived on very short notice. No way to go wrong with this one!!! Many of the beaten path hiking trails on Mill Creek Rd If you don't want to do the tourist trails. Daily Lake is very close, and was awesome with everything snow covered. The only negative is the wind in the valley can be brutal at times. We have been staying in Montana for years, and if you know about Montana it's windy so don't think it's only here. Absolutely recommend this place!!!
Definitely a camp as advertised. The cleanliness and condition of screens and such was below par. I think if they can increase the quality of what you pay for it since you have to pay for cleaning then this review and many others I read that be greatly improve. And it was easy to talk to you and Seem to appreciate our feedback. We would stay again if we knew that the quality was improved.
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our family. We decided Yellowstone would be a great trip. The cabin was quintessential for our family and location!! We couldnโt have asked for a more perfect cabin!! Thank you!! Thank you!! My family and I LOVED every minute!!
We stayed for a week at this property and had a wonderful time. If you are concerned about the kitchen not being fully stocked as one of the reviews said don't be. We were very happy with everything. We tried fishing a number of places in the Yellowstone River but only caught fish right at the house. There were also an abundance of Eagles and Osprey as well as Elk frequenting the area. Emigrant has a small store gas station store that will have just about anything you will need but if they didn't you could drive down to Gardiner about 20 minutes away for anything else you need. All in all a beautiful location and wonderful trip!
