I had a little trouble finding the driveway. It is easy to miss. The property is wooded and you really feel you are the only person in the world. You can hear nature. I loved hearing the woodpeckers. When we got settled at the house we were impressed by the cabin feel. My favorite room was the screened in porch. In the living room there is a wood burning stove and plenty of wood for it. The bedrooms are nice. I felt confined in the main floor shower. There are plenty of games to play. There’s a pool table in the basement along with other games. Outside there is a fire ring that we didn’t get to use since it rained the whole time. We are already making plans for another stay.

Although it took awhile from the main road to get to the cabin, my wife and I thought it was worth it for its isolation, scenery and warmth. We visited in the fall with changing colors of the leaves. Nothing new to add which wasn't previously stated by other reviews. Only downside for us was the main bed was a little too soft for our liking; no tv in the bedroom and all the cue sticks downstairs were missing tips. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay here.

I am so glad we chose this property for our vacation! The house was great for our family of 6. Our younger girls loved the toys and books and our older girls enjoyed playing darts and pool. We all loved being able to get out and explore in the woods. Though the weather was less thaf ideal, our hosts went out of their way to help us make the most of our trip! We're hoping to be able to book this property again next year! 3

We had an amazing time. Just what we needed to relax. The river access is perfect. Feels like you have a whole park to yourself. We explored Berkeley Springs (25 minutes away) and Cacapon State Park. Ate at Berkeley Springs Brewery, and mostly just stayed at the cabin and enjoyed family time. The internet was good. Games were fun. Martin was super helpful. Highly recommend this for a relaxing getaway. The screened in porch was my favorite spot.

We had a wonderful stay, it was short but worth every minute! This place is clean and super cozy! The pool table is definitely a big plus and brought lots of fun while we were there! The host is super responsive and from check in to check out everything was easy and smooth! We loved our time there and will most definitely keep it in mind for a return!

Wonderful property Communication/description excellent The upkeep/ambience of the cabin is great Love the secluded feel—surrounded by trees/nature Great access to the water (walk or drive there) There is nothing near the cabin (which we liked) but only 15-25 min drive to town Cabin is very well stocked (supplies, games, wood, streaking tv) Great swing in the screened porch Top marks

We had an amazing five star stay at the cabin. My husband and I with our married adult children needed a restful weekend get away and this cabin stay was perfect. We also took 2 family dogs with us. Humans and dogs very much enjoyed the cozy cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the camp fire area. Fun times eating meals as a family, playing games and taking a few naps. Will definitely consider a repeat stay in the future. Will highly recommend this cabin to family and friends. Martin is very good with communication. Everything about the cabin was exactly as we anticipated.

Great stay with two families and four little ones. Appreciated accommodations for the kids including toys, pack and play, board games, and kid friendly eatery. Had a very hot weekend but we escaped to the river and capacon resort state park for hiking and lake. Window ac units did the job. Caught some fish by river and tubed/kayaked to low river bridge (which takes a few hours depending on flows). Would recommend to others looking for a peaceful woods escape with access to clean river. No cell service but Wi-Fi generally worked when needed.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. We were welcomed by a clean home, a lovely welcome basket of treats, and an informative binder that kept everything simple and to the point! Due to Mother Nature, we had a to have a few nights inside, but we enjoyed doing puzzles by candlelight. When we could enjoy the outdoors, there was a nice cornhole set and comfy chairs for by the fire. We loved the string lights, swings and basketball hoop as well. Remember your bug spray! You’re in the woods ? We went down to the river and enjoyed that, but if you have littles, bring good water shoes to protect from the rocks. The peace and quiet was so pleasant. The back porch was epic for morning coffee and hearing all the calming nature sounds.
