Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
This newly updated, rustic cabin (shown in small pic) has two bedrooms and includes a queen bed and two twins with a pull out sleeper sofa. The kitchen is equipped with all you'll need for your stay. Bathroom includes brand new everything.
Renting this cabin on our waterfront property (shown in aerial view) gives you access to a boat launch, canoe, paddle boat and pontoon (available for rent), common area fire pit, grill usage, and so much more.
Take a short ferry ride to our special Islamd and a 20-minute drive down to enjoy the solitude of nature and the most beautiful sunrises... And lots of great fishing.
But remember, you will be vacationing on an island, in a cabin, on waterfront property so you can expect a few bugs, mosquitoes, maybe a fox walking down the street, a bear if you're lucky, lots of birds to include eagles if you watch closely, and other family, perhaps mouse, lots of frogs, etc.
Pure joy!

Beutiful location, clean, wonderful and pleasent hosts.
Love love love this property and it’s owners. We had such a relaxing stay and loved that they had a little store on the property for anything you forgot. Thank you both SO much for our wonderful stay.
Shari and Jeff were awesome hosts, bringing us a flashlight in case the power went out during storms and taking my daughter on an ATV to see the ships around the point. The cabin was very rustic and cute. My 12 y. o. was happy to have a 2 hoop basketball court, floating docks on the water and boats available for use. We enjoyed fishing and swimming from their beach. The weather was unusually hot and the cabin became unbearable for sleeping with no AC and a missing screen. We were prepared for the mosquitoes but not the heat. We know the hosts are working on installing full-length curtains, fixing an outlet and working on the cabin ventilation and door knobs. Wi-fi was not working and internet was spotty at best. Beautiful setting and great place to unplug. Would have enjoyed it more if we could sleep at night. Thank you to Shari and Jeff for welcoming us and doing their best to make us comfortable. We left 2 days early due to the heat and the hosts sent us a gift certificate to ease our loss which was most appreciated. Sugar Island is beautiful with a close view of Canada.
Perfect place to get away from everything for the weekend!
Nice little place. Everything we needed for our stay.
The peaceful view can’t be beat!
My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous, quiet week. The island is beautiful and the views cannot be beat. The cabin was no-frills but charming and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Loved it! Very peaceful and beautiful stay.
