This was the most amazing vacation I've ever had. The owners were amazing and sent a packet of activities in the area. The house was gorgeous and there was an astounding view of the mountain from the second floor.
Nice house with beautiful view. It has a hard acess because the driveway. But thank you so much Bill for the attention.
We absolutely loved this cabin. We have a family of 4 and had plenty of space. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. It is nicely decorated so you comfortable to the point it feels like home. Lots to do in Clayton and surrounding counties. You could not ask for a better mountain view. I the evening when the sun goes down you get a beautiful sunset and in the early morning hours the clouds rolling in across the mountain tops will leave you in awe. We will definitely be returning to the Willie Bear.
What a wonderful place and I cannot imagine better owners to work with. Williebear Cabin was exactly as described. Bill answered all of the questions we had prior to our arrival very promptly and also provided us with a packet of information about the area, driving directions including things we might want to visit on the way to the cabin. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Everything you can imagine is provided including a toothbrush if you should forget one. The beds, couches, deck furniture, everything is very comfortable. Some of the mountain roads in NE Georgia can be difficult to navigate, but the directions that Bill sent us were perfect even in the dark. No problems at all getting there. We were blessed to have perfect weather while we were there and the views from the cabin are amazing. This was my first experience renting a house but I cannot imagine any owners being better to work with than Bill and Karen. Amazing rental all the way around. THANK YOU.
Outstanding and very welcoming.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet...the view is BREATHTAKING!!! The fishing off earls ford road was awesome!! Kids throughly enjoyed themselves!! As did us adults!!!
Nice, quiet, tucked into the mountain. Great view on back porch.
We really enjoyed weekend at this special cabin. The cabin was plenty big enough for our party of eight (5 adults and 3 children). The cabin layout was great, the view spectacular, and the cabin is very close to town… a big plus for our group. We really appreciated the owners having the cabin stocked with toiletries and all kitchen essentials. Apparently, there were complaints about the steep driveway, but if you want the peaceful isolation of a beautiful mountainside lot, the driveway is part of the package. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this special home and look forward to our next stay!
The house was well equipped and the view was spectacular. The down side of this is that the driveway was not motorcycle friendly and there was no way a full size pickup could maneuver up to the house. The other issue that I had was that you pay $125.00 cleanup fee but you have to take your garbage to the collection area about 5 miles away. If it is a Sunday, the collection area is not open until 12:00pm. I would recommend this for a family with a small car. As for motorcycles this would not be on the top of my list to stay. As there is no covered parking and the driveway steepness.
Cabin is in a great location to access many outdoor activities and hosts provide ample info about local sites.
