If you bring your own food....that's it! If the cabin doesn't have it, you don't need it! Owner has thought of everything. Hope to be back ...maybe for Fall vacation. Jim & Joyce Wolcott, NY
It has everything you need for a very relaxing vacation! Everything went very smoothly from thetime I booked it until the end of our stay.? Thank you!
Beautiful area! Very relaxing! Definitely going back sometime.
it was so quiet and peaceful. the amenities in the cabin were wonderful. linens, dishes, mugs, and glasses all provided. one of the best experiences I've had. the owner was quick to respond to any questions I had and very courteous. I would highly recommend booking this cabin for your next get away. I know I will return again in the future.
Loved the cabin and the area, would definitely go again
My son returned to Ft Drum, NY from a military deployment, and to celebrate we looked for a cabin in the Lake Placid area. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The cabin is beautiful and is on a great piece of property. Despite the cold weather and snow, the radiant heat and the comfortable layout of the cabin made our time together very memorable. The cabin has reasonable access to Lake Placid and all the restaurants and shops that go with the area. The interior of the home is very nice, with bathrooms that are adjacent to the bedrooms (which I prefer, so others have access, without having to go into someone's bedroom). The kitchen and living space were nicely proportioned for a two bedroom home ... and the outside deck and fire pit were fantastic. If given the opportunity, I would rent it again, and recommend so to my family and friends.
We had a great time in your lovely cabin. It was very cosy with lots of amenities. Fire pit was amazing after a long day's hike. I would mention on your website there is no Wyfi. Not a big deal but it's an obvious omission most people would want to know about. Carolyn and Paul
what a beautiful cabin. worked perfect for 2 couples.
If you're like me, you probably read through all of the reviews that you can find before booking a place. Although they can sometimes be a bit off, you should definitely believe all of the rave reviews for Wildwood in the Pines! Lorri, the owner, was very responsive to all of our questions prior to arrival. Upon arrival, we found that the pictures and descriptions of all the amenities were exactly as advertised. The cabin was great, and offered all of the comforts of home. The kids loved camping out in the loft, and building fires in the fire pit. The location is great, as it is off the beaten path, but close to all kinds of hiking trails, fishing spots, ski areas, and shopping in Lake Placid. We're already looking forward to our next trip!
Wonderful stay - house was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable, well stocked, with lots of firewood. Would love to come back!
