We booked through VRBO but we were completely unaware there was a second platform the property used to manage the community called Grand Welcome. Our experience with Grand Welcome was anything but welcoming. It was completely inadequate for the price point. We booked the incorrect dates to start, which was our oversight, but had to call multiple times to get reimbursed. Vrbo had listed the property as having a 100% refund if canceled by a certain time. We canceled within hours after realizing our dates were incorrect but I spent hours on the phone with vrbo, grand welcome and my bank before finally getting reimbursed.Upon entering the gated community, where an actual person allowed us access to enter the property, there were no further instructions on which house was ours or directions on where we should go, the community was vast and the directions, very vague. No houses had numbers on them, except for ours, which would have saved us time time in guessing which one was ours, since gps took us to the wrong place. The house itself was nice, but many parts hadn't fully been cleaned (under the couch, top of the hood over the oven were all covered in dust) had the house been at least fully equipped with some essential cleaning supplies (there were none) and had proper window coverings to help the harsh sunlight from coming in the sliding back doors, which also kept the place hot, the 5 star listing would have received our 5 star review. I would never book another trip with Grand
