Wilderness Cabin - Nature Retreat in Peaceful Woods near Big Sandy Lake

Really enjoyed our stay. Very nice and welcoming. My grandson loved filling the bird feeders each morning.

Cannot say enough good things about this property! Very well appointed, stocked pantry, super clean, and excellent customer service. We even got free Hulu access. When in Northern Minnesota this place is a hidden gem in the woods…highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful rentals we have experienced. Everything was as stated in advertisements. Host thought of everything you would need for the perfect stay just down to detailed instructions and places to go. Definitely would stay there again.

This was the perfect place for us three girls to getaway on a wintery cold weekend. The place was very clean, and the owner communicated quickly with us. The only advice I would give if you decided to book here in the winter is to bring some slippers because the floor is cold. Would love to come here again sometime!

Listing described this wonderful cabin in the woods exactly! We were able to snowmobile right from the driveway and get to the trail system. Jessica is an excellent host and was very prompt with any questions we had.

My best friend and I enjoyed a very relaxing wkend at your cabin scrapbooking. The weather was cool, overcast and drizzly, so perfect time to stay inside and craft. There were some nearby local restaurant's we could run to for a bite, which was nice. We enjoyed Zorbaz. The only little comments we would have is there is one bathroom, and it's on the main level, with 2 doors, between one bedroom and a hallway, so you have to open/shut 2 doors, plus on the other side is someone's bedroom. The other one would be the TV. It would be nice to have local channels available to watch the news, vikings games, etc. but we got by. We look forward to spending another wkend here!.

Visited family in the area and had a great stay. Plenty of parking and setback from the road. Very pleasant place close to the lake. Would recommend!

This was our 2nd stay. We love this property! It’s one of the most well thought out rentals we have ever stayed in. We booked it for revolving overflow guests that our lake cabin is to small to accommodate. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the grounds are so peaceful. We will be back.

Cozy cabin, very clean, exactly as advertised. Loved the Oso Verde theme. Host was responsive. Brought a boat and spent the day on Big Sandy. Would definitely stay again.

Jessica's cabin in the woods was the best short term rental we have ever had. It actually matched the listing, was impeccably maintained, and was even cuter in person than in the pictures. Plus there has been so much attention to detail all over the cabin! Hooks where you need them in the bathroom, pantry essentials, a drawer of little forgot them items, labeled light switches (more owners should do that, it was so helpful!), even birdseed for the feeders! To top it off, Jessica was a fantastic host. She provided a ton of information about the area, ideas of things to do, and answered questions. (And just seemed so nice too!) This cabin really feels loved by the owners, and was such a great place to have a campfire & make s'mores with your family, play games, and just have a relaxing time together. We are so glad we ended up there, and will be recommending it to anyone looking for a place in northern Minnesota!

This was our second time at this rental. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great 4th of July weekend.

The cabin is well taken care of, very cozy, and there are so many thoughtful details that made our stay really great. Definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the McGregor area!
