White Mountain Retreat | Hot Tub, Grill, Fireplace

The cabin was very spacious and well kept. We loved the layout with 2, essentially master bed/bath's on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms on the opposite side. This would be perfect for 2 families traveling with kids. The location is great only 8 minutes from town and 34 minutes from Ski Apache. The management company was very good to work with. I highly recommend this property.

House was great! Plenty big for our family. Only problem we had was the internet service was out and the owner never fixed it our entire stay. A man did come and get service to one of our tvs but other than that no service for our phones or tablets or the other tvs at the house.

Great communication. Good location. Nice amenities.

It was a clean home and very great place to stay

Good space for our family of 5 plus grandparents. Beds were comfortable and all problems were fixed promptly by management. Bare minimum, what you see is all you get! Bring everything but the kitchen sink! Enjoyed hot tub, but it is on the front porch. Only seats for 4 people on front porch and the bench is broken and uncomfortable. Felt like price was a little high for accommodations, but overall great stay.

This was a beautiful house located in a gated neighborhood. Communication with the rental company was excellent. Clean beds, abundance of clean towels and all of the kitchen utensils you’d need. There’s a keurig in the cupboard as well as a standard coffee maker if you’re shopping for groceries beforehand. We traveled with 2 under 1 and the open layout was great for a crawler and new walker. Overall we had a great stay and we would rent it again.

It was nice overall. There was a container that was supposed to contain sheets & a blanket for the sofa sleeper, but only a twin mattress protector and towels were inside. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, as well as the cob webs and dust on the fans.

We enjoyed staying here and would recommend, however we had a little hiccup with the maintenance. One of the toilets went out and called in the evening. I was told the maintenance person will be there first thing in the morning. At 10AM the next day called again and the lady answering was rude. She told me 3 times that they only had ONE maintenance guy and he is out working. He eventually showed up at 1PM and fixed that and another issue we had. The other thing you should know if you are renting here specially during the winter is that half of the house is extremely cold and the other super hot overnight. The fireplace is extremely small and gas burning, I would recommend upgrading that. No toaster in the kitchen just FYI. The neighborhood is extremely nice, gated and clean, wildlife to enjoy every day.

Owned/managed by a property company, not an individual. By the listing we expected to be dealing directly with a host but instead it's a company office which you must visit on the way to the property to check in and get all the property info. Don't go before 4PM-they'll turn you away. Also there are windows but no view from the 3 back bedrooms. That said, now that you know what to expect, everything about this listing is great. The master bed was soooo comfortable-we slept so well. The home is immaculately clean and the check-in process/folder with info is very well-organized. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and the view/breeze from the front porch is just lovely any time of day, even otherwise hot summer afternoons, because it's completely shaded. When you go to Albertson's for groceries get everything - salt, pepper, tea, etc. that you might expect to be in the pantry already b/c there'll be absolutely nothing in the pantry, and they ask that you take everything foodwise with you when you leave, just fyi. We truly enjoyed staying at this property, though. It's set up perfectly with plenty of room for our 2 teens and the four of us adults. Central location, and a beautiful retreat. (Outside of the house, don't go anywhere near the Inn of the Mountain Gods for fireworks July 4th. It's an unbelievably crowded madhouse. Stay home. You can actually see the tops of the fireworks from the porch!)

The house is great for larger groups. We were 5 adults and had plenty of room. It had everything we needed. The property management company was great and very helpful, the main heat source was not working so we were given space heaters to use Our only concerns were the jacuzzi was not working and when we called, they guy said he would try and find someone to work on it. Never heard back
