We gave this cabin in Rangeley Manor a 5-star rating because it had everything that was described online, and everything worked just fine. The cabin was very clean when we checked in. The beds and living room furniture were all very comfortable, and it was nice to have reliable wi-fi and a smart TV. Although the cabin is within sight and earshot of several other cabins, everyone in the neighborhood respected others' privacy, and abided by the stated quiet times between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. While the front of the cabin is open, the back yard is relatively private, and a nice spot for grilling and sitting around a fire pit. Finally, the Mortin & Furbish staff does a great job of communicating to renters before checking in, and there are a number of helpful communications left for renters in the cabin itself. The entire Rangeley Manor association is a great location, and we would gladly stay at the Wispering Winds cabin again.

Unit was neat and clean. The central location to downtown Rangeley was perfect. Wildlife (deer) on the front lawn was great to watch every morning while having our morning coffee. Seating was plentiful, new kitchen table (since last stay) is larger and much more user frendly. Unit contained everything we needed (coffee pot, microwave, oven-stove, refrigerator, silverware, utensils and a good assortment of pots, pans and bowls. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Overall, we would rent this place again with no qualms whatsoever. Thanks!

This unit (well maintained), was rented to be my basecamp for a week in the Maine woods. Unit was clean, had the necessary and expected accoutrements. It contained a full sized stove, oven, microware, toaster, dish washer, coffee maker, refrigerator-freezer, silverware, dishes, pots-pans and a propane fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the shower provided a great hot water supply. There were plenty of places to hang your clothes-coats through the facility. The location was easily within striking distance to downtown Rangeley (less than a mile) and less than 7 miles to Oquossoc. There is no doubt that I would gladly rent this unit again in the future. It fully met all my requirements for an enjoyable stay.
