Amazing little cabin near a creek and crystal mining. Loved the country charm of the cabin and the host was very informative of the area. Clean cabin with a quick little hiking area to Twin Creek which has lots of rocks and trout. Was surprised to see how clear it was with that peaceful running sound of water over the rocks through the creek. Perfect little setup with this cabin. The cabin does include an outdoor are with a grill, fire pit and hammocks! Perfect for a couple getaway or a small family. Bonus is that it is next to a rock shop and there are crystal mining adventures in both directions on this route. Would definitely recommend and make sure to visit the 270 Diner in Mt Ida

everything was wonderful

The cabin was very clean, stocked, and adorable. The property with the trail was really cool and there are tons of games to choose from along with a firepit to sit around! Kat was very helpful in pointing us in the direction of fun things to do and good places to eat. The view of the stars was phenomenal and it was the perfect place for our anniversary weekend!!

Me and my husband came here for our 20th wedding anniversary. I cannot say how much we loved it! The cabin was so cute! Cleanliness was over the top! The amenities they provided were perfect for all of your needs, and the owners were easily reached if there were any questions or concerns we had, which we didn’t! We will definitely be back, over and over again! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Nice little getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Whispering Pines cabin. With the ideal location for the major crystal mines in close proximity, and the creek within walking distance it was the perfect place. It has all the amenities you could possibly need. The decor is new and it's very clean. We couldn't be happier with the cabin and will definitely return!

The cabin was wonderful! It had all the amenities that you expected and some you didn't. Easy to find, centrally located, clean, access to a peaceful creek, and plenty of restaurants. We will. E coming back!

This was such a charming place to stay. My mother and I really enjoyed the peacefulness. The host had some great recommendations for food and things to do and see around the area. The creek is a fairly easy walk. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your little cabin.

Very peaceful

The cabin was very cute and for the location the traffic noise was not a problem at all. We were able to walk down to the creek it was a pretty simple walk down. We enjoyed our quick little getaway as we were only able to stay one night.

Awesome spot. It rained while we were there. But we enjoyed staying in.

Everything was great. Only problem was I couldn’t find a sponge or something to wash the dishes with since we were asked to clean them. Did my best with what we had.

The host was very responsive and friendly. The cottage was cute and clean. The large, unattractive sign advertising the cottage was an eye-sore but that didn't take much away from the appeal. What did detour us from wanting to stay there for any length of time is that it is right on a busy highway. We did walk down to the creek which was lovely.

This was a lil breath of fresh air! I wanted to take my wife for a surprise birthday overnight get away and saw this lil place and thought it was perfect….AND IT WAS! We had a wonderful relaxing time! The place was truly absolutely PERFECT!

Perfectly organized tiny home! This home was quite, convenient location to digging sites, and has a rock store nextdoor. Having a nice path to the creek and the creek itself was a great bonus. I'll stay here again.

The property was well-maintained and clean. My two little boys loved sleeping in the loft.

This was exactly what we wanted out of a tiny house stay! The beds were comfy, the loft was easy enough to get into (though adults don't fit very well), and the bathroom was just big enough. There was enough kitchen equipment and outdoor cooking space to accommodate meals, and the hammocks out back were clean and comfortable. The creek a short walk away was gorgeous! If you're not a morning person the lack of curtains may be a problem. The temperature inside stayed comfortable despite the heat outside. Would highly recommend this spot for a quiet stay close to some beautiful scenery.

This cute little cabin was the perfect location for our trip to the crystal mine. Easy to find and easy to check in. The trail to the creek was clean and fun to adventure. It has a rock washing station which was awesome! The bed was comfy and the shower had great water pressure!

Easy to find. Information from Kat prior to our arrival, made the stay and experience flawless. Very clean and amenities were great. Great location for the activities we had planned for our granddaughter. Excellent location for hunting for crystals. Can't to return to the area and use again. By far one of our best VRBO experiences. Enjoyed the quietness of the location compared to the concrete jungle where we live. My wife and daughter loved the decorations, and the granddaughter loved have the loft to herself.

We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in.

The cabin is very cute and clean They offer free Wi-Fi and Netflix is on the tv Cozy stay. It was our first time coming to Arkansas to dig for crystals can't wait to return again. The property was very conviently located to the attractions I was interested in. It was well furnished with everything I could have needed. Even though it is very close to the road, the noise really wasn't a bother. I love that it had a grill and a fire pit to use. I even got some help to make a better fire. The host was extremely helpful and provided so much local information.

Such a cute cabin! It was really cool exploring the creek area and the hosts are super nice. Their recommendation to visit the Hickory Nut Mountain Vista was awesome!

Everything was great.

My grandchildren and I have stayed here twice on on travels to Northwest Arkansas. It is small but mighty! We enjoy the creek trail and the hammocks the most. The kids love the tiny house stocked with games and DVD but are usually enjoying the outdoors instead. Our host called to inform us we left a few items and graciously shipped them home for us! 10/10 service!! Thanks for letting us enjoy Whispering Pines!

The property is very well taken care of and exactly as described. The weekend we were there, tornadoes were in the vicinity, and the owners made sure we had a safe place to go. They went above and beyond. The trail to the creek in the back is beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Whispering Pines Cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! Every inch of the cabin was thoughtfully designed, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked amenities—everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The outdoor space was just as wonderful, with cozy hammocks and a lovely walk down to the creek (just keep an eye out for snakes). Our kids had a blast exploring and washing our crystals at the wash station. The location was ideal—peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to town for anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat and can’t wait to come back!

Place looks small from the outside but is very spacious inside. Very clean and very accommodating.

My daughter and I came to AK to mine at Twin Creek Crystal Mine and it was the perfect location (just 10-15 minute drive). We loved the pine trees at the cabin, the hammocks, exploring at the creek (5 minute walk), and feeling tucked away in a cute cabin instead of staying farther away in Hot Springs as we usually do. From now on, we will come back to this cabin and enjoy a true “off the grid” location that still has everything we need. The hosts were wonderful!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The hosts are informative and super hospitable. The cabin is clean and well managed. They thought of everything! Close to all the crystal mining and lake amenities! We will be back!

Father/son trip: perfect location, very relaxing. The Host was quick to provide tons of information. Had everything needed (cooked meat outside and a microwave inside). The space and bunk on the loft was a little tight for the son who is 5’9” but it was manageable.

The indoor and outdoor spaces were equally stunning, and we felt welcomed right from the start. One of our favorite experiences was exploring the trail to the creek—it was peaceful and so refreshing. Evenings by the fire pit were magical, complete with s’mores and starry skies. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even sending us a new heater promptly when the original one stopped working. Their attentiveness made us feel truly cared for. We also loved venturing out to Hickory Nut Mountain, just a few miles away. The panoramic view of the lake from the top was absolutely incredible and well worth the trip. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Whispering Pines Cabin is a true gem for anyone seeking relaxation and adventure!

Cozy, comfortable tiny home. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Hated leaving when we did! The only drawback is it's close to the road but it's not an extremely busy road. It's still relaxing!! And it's next door to a rock shop!!

This lovely rental was just what I needed. The house itself was very cute and welcoming, but what really stood out to me were the surrounding pine trees, the wonderful hammocks, and the nice little trail out back to the creek. I sat outside at night to watch the stars. Was grateful the owners of the property had shared info about the nearby Lake Ouachita hiking trails and mountain vista views. Great all around stay!

This is such a cute, cozy place to stay. The creek out back is wonderful. We wrapped up in the hammocks with blankets (myself, my daughter, and my mom) before bed, and it was so relaxing. You can tell the owner really cares about the property. I'd recommend if you're in the area. My daughter, who loves and collects all things rocks, was obsessed with the rock store next door. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks so much!

We loved staying in the cozy cute VRBO! We brought our daughter crystal mining for her birthday and stayed here and it was perfect! So cozy and quaint. We really loved the nature trail leading to the creek! Such a wonderful bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was just perfect for my husband and I to have a couple days of relaxing and crystal digging. The cabin was right off the highway and easy to find and get to. Conveniently located to town and the crystal mines.Clean and cute!

MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK A SHORT TRIP TO EXPLORE A LITTLE OF ARKANSAS. THIS WAS THE PERFECT LITTLE COZY SPOT. WE REALLY ENJOYED WALKING TO THE CREEK AND BEING SAFELY IN NATURE. BEING FROM TEXAS WE LOVE TO BBQ SO IT WAS NICE TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT AND SIT BY THE FIRE PIT. I WAS ABLE TO KICK MY SHOES OFF AND GROUND IN THE GRASS. THE SPACE WAS TIDY AND WELL KEPT. WE DID HAVE LUNCH AT THE DIARYETTE AND LOVED IT. I ONLY WISH I HAD MORE TIME. :-)
