Whispering Creek Cabin – Peaceful, Hot Tub, Firepit & Mountain Escape

The cabin and its amenities are first class. There's nothing that wasn't thought of including furnishings, appliances, and utensils. Everything is top grade. The hot tub is so relaxing & the gazebo & fire ring are a nice amenity as well. Best of all, for us, is the location by the creek. Of the other cabins in our area, ours had the best location. We will definitely stay here again.

Thanks for a great stay! We had a work conference at Unicoi State Park and this was a very convenient location to the park and to Helen. The house was clean and well appointed. The fire-pit and hot tub were a perfect end to a long day. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our third trip to Whispering Creek cabin and so far the best. Only 2 catches. First the shower head broke while my wife was in the shower. Sent a message to our contact and they sent a repair person. Unfortunately we were out but they did leave a new shower head. Two or three minutes and I had it on and all was fine. The only other issue is the toilet in the master bathroom ( the one on the right) needs to be looked at. It leaks down and refills one to two times per minute. Looked at the flaps inside the tank but saw nothing wrong but they have to be the issue as there is nothing else in the tank that could cause this issue. Also on the same toilet when it's flushed somehow air or gas is building up on the back of the bowl making it burp when flushed. Other than those two minor issues everything was great. While we were in Helen we looked at several other cabins and nothing comes close to Whispering Creek for privacy and comfort ! Thank you for allowing us to rent the cabin another year and if all goes well we will be doing this again next year at the same time ! Thanks again !!

We did not use the indoor fireplace or hot tub, but the house was clean and neat, the kitchen well stocked with the necessary dishes, glasses, etc, and we thoroughly enjoyed using the deck and fire pit area. If in the area again, I would definitely choose this property.

Location/proximity to Helen was wonderful. Quiet area!

The pictures should be updated, they don't match the colors of the exterior. The commode in the bathroom with the shower needs the flush valve replaced. The water drains down and every few minutes the water comes on to refill the tank. The directions from gps doesn't match the directions, that where given to us.

Everything was great. Very clean and neat. Instructions on how to get there and getting into the cabin were very clear.

Was a very nice place away from all other cabins, the host was great about supplying everything they said they would

Cabin was nestled in the mountain with wooded view. There were other cabins near but not on top of you. It was peaceful and serene. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit due to unseasonably warm weather. The cabin was clean and very cozy. We loved our stay. The roads to the cabin were dirt and a little rough but that just added to feeling of seclusion. Would definitely stay here again loved that upon entering the cabin on Christmas Eve there was Christmas music playing on the tv

Clean and quiet location, tucked in the woods in close proximity to Helen. Very comfortable. Great trip.

Really nice cabin, exactly what we needed for two couples. Both bedrooms had their own bathroom and king size bed. It's an excellent property and an excellent stay, there were no negatives. Helen was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed a few hikes in the area to include Anna Ruby Falls and Brasstown Bald.

The cabin was the perfect size! The backyard is beautiful, and the location is just far enough from Helen to not deal with heavy traffic. It was too windy to use the outdoor fire pit, but the fireplace was nice.

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Didn't use the hot tub. We had a great time and saw a lot of attractions. Just wish the TV selection could have included the major networks somehow. The app selections were very limited. Otherwise, everything was great!

We only had a chance to get into hot top once but that one time was great. The house was clean inside but had a musty smell to it and you could feel the humidity. We probably should have opened the windows and doors but didn’t think of it. The outside of the cabin could use a little attention. There was a lot of spider webs. The location was great for our trip.

Love this property. Great for two couples or a girls trip. Love that each bedroom has a king bed and it’s on bathroom. This was my second time staying here. Would stay here again.

This cabin has everything needed. Loved the hot tub & sitting out back listening to the creek. Close enough to Helen & all the hiking we wanted to do but far enough from away to feel like a private peaceful getaway. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin. Beautiful scenery. Nice secluded location not too far from town or attractions. Even saw a bear!

This was a great place to stay. Both bedrooms had bathrooms. Is well appointed. We were disappointed we didn't do a campfire. The only thing I found lacking was the light in the kitchen. Other than that it was an awesome stay.

Peaceful & relaxing weekend close to lots of great things to do

The cabin layout was perfect for a couple and one adult guest. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the cabin, providing privacy. Everything was clean,(there were spiderwebs on the back deck and in the gazebo) we enjoyed using the hot tub and the firing as well.There is a diner right down the road beside a gas station, lending to convenience.The cabins decor is very cute as well.

Very charming and comfortable stay! Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The town of Helen is adorable and you should stay at this cabin if you are visiting the area or just passing through.

We loved the feel of being in the woods with all the modern conveniences. The back porch area was lovely and despite some rain we loved being there in the hot tub and just enjoying the gorgeous back yard. The little creek and fire pit area made for a perfect time!

We loved our stay very much! This cabin was close enough where we could enjoy the town of Helen but then remote enough where we could have a nice quiet weekend. The cabin had modern amenities but overall rustic and quaint. Loved the outdoor deck with a view into the brook & woods. We'd love to come back when the weather is better and enjoy the outdoor area around the cabin!

I've rented this cabin twice and probably will again. Everything was as advertised. The only issue is the lock box, if you have poor eyesight. The numbers on the tiny tumblers are hard to see if you arrive after dark and shinning a light on them doesn't help. It really needs to be updated to a modern box with a keypad. Other than that, the place is excellent!

This cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The location is so convenient to Anna Ruby Falls & downtown Helen. The property was clean & comfortable. The creek running through the backyard, fire pit & swing were all a plus!

It was a charming cabin near Anna Ruby Falls, where we took my husband's twin brother. It was his first time in Helen, where the twins found two amazing Thai restaurants. The Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center is a must see, as well as the Old Sautee Store. Whispering Creek was a great mountain home for us. Thanks!
