Firewood is available. Whatever is used will be deducted from your damage deposit, $6.99 per bundle.

This is a wanna be destination campground. I believe the cabin was described as secluded, which gave me more confidence about going ahead with the reservation. It's not. It's one of a number of sites around a small lake - everyone is within sight. On our way there, we received a text letting us know there was a corporate group event happening on site that included people wandering the woods for a scavenge hunt, live music and fireworks - what?!! The first night there at 9:15 pm all of a sudden all these lights came on - literally thousands of Christmas lights on trees and other structures around the campground - whoa - also not secluded. So, it was a very nice, clean cabin and provided what we needed for our trip to the area - no complaints there at all. It was just not nearly as private or woodsy as described. If a social camping experience with live music, cow yoga, 9 am bloody mary bars and $7 pizza slices are your style - this is the place for you

This is a lovely, impressive property of which the Family Cabin is a component. Being on the water, having the lighted trees, wildlife, and walking areas -- all made for a great stay.

We stayed in the family cabin and it was absolutely adorable. It’s a mix of contemporary and rustic charm. It was very well stocked with everything you need. The fireplace was amazing. The owners are so helpful and sweet as well. Whatever you need they were there without being in your face. It was super peaceful when we were there. The work that has been put into the place is incredible. We can’t wait to come back and bring the whole family.

Spent a long weekend there, arriving on Friday and departing on Monday. There was live music on Friday night at the Barn, which was about a 10-minute walk from the cabin. During the days, entertainment for children abound with swimming, small boats, and playgrounds. There are several nice walking trails. The quaint little town of St. Croix is about a 10-minute ride away, and has lots of small shops. Lions Park directly on the Mississippi River, is about a 5-minute drive away.
