Stayed Jun 15, 2026We loved the dancing fox! It was so clean and well appointed, it was the best stocked vacation home we have ever been too. Made for a perfect family getaway for our extended family of 15 including an infant. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Stayed Mar 15, 2026Our group of 18 spent several days at the Dancing Fox and had a great time. The property location is outstanding with fantastic views and good proximity to various attractions. The property itself was marvelous - plenty of open space to gather, varied bedrooms and sleeping arrangements, a good-sized pool for the kids to swim in, lots of built-in entertainment and activities for a rainy day, and a well-stocked kitchen (cookware, dishes and so on). The property was clean and well-appointed. The only issue we had (a blown fuse) was promptly addressed and staff was responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. I would have zero hesitations in booking with Coastal / Mountain Vibe again. This is an easy 5 star rating!

Stayed Jan 23, 2026They were predicting a snowstorm the weekend we were scheduled to go to Dancing Fox. We waffled on whether we would go anyway and risk potentially getting stuck up there... WE ARE SO GLAD WE CAME. Not only did snow not even stick in our area, it was the most cozy, magical weekend. Sitting in a hot tub overlooking the mountains while snow flurried around us was a pinch-me moment, potentially only rivaled by drinking coffee in front of the fire afterward. Thank you for an absolutely fabulous stay!

Stayed Jan 16, 202613 ladies took our annual girl trip to the Smokies and stayed at Dancing Fox. It was the best cabin or resort we've stayed at to date. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The pool was warm and the decor was top notch. The two refrigerators were important for a large group. We had a blast watching UK play in the theatre room; Shooting pool and enjoying the panoramic view of the mountains from the deck. The sunrises and sunsets were the best. Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025The host was very responsive and the home was absolutely lovely. Our family of 15 stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time. The indoor pool was fantastic and the location was easily accessible to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Stayed Dec 3, 2025This home was very impressive. It has everything you need to cook and a generous amount of starter supplies. The two refrigerators were a wonderful and needed feature. The pool and hottub were clean. The parking has a generous amount of space. The view is beautiful. Also, the home is very close to Pigeon Forge. Our group would stay at this home again.

Stayed Oct 21, 2025Exceeded all our parties expectations! Over the top- grand! Highly recommend- better than the photos- views of the National Park are absolutely breathtaking. Kids would have spent every moment in the pool or hot tub - something amazing for everyone! the amount of fireplaces in this lodge is mind blowing! The antique cars were a huge hit! As well as the mustang pool table! Pristine shape- and super clean - someone created this place with alot of love! We will be back!

Stayed Sep 30, 2025Let me say that my friends and I have already stayed at this property in 2023 and were extremely happy. When you first get to the cabin the scenery is beautiful and seeing how high up you are going is awesome! The neighborhood is very beautiful and kept up, NO SPEED BUMPS!! We came here in 2023 for a car event “slammedenuff” which my friend group comes realistically to see each other since we're on opposite sides of the USA. The drive way is very large and as you drive up you really get a great view of how massive the house really is. It's great for larger families and larger groups to enjoy. The views are spectacular. We had the pleasure of Nathan helping our stay feel right at home with a few gifts and a thank you card for returning. My friends and I loved the stay and had a better time this year than in 2023. We will be back and thank you for accommodating all of us!!

Stayed Jul 19, 2025The artistry of the house was amazing from the landscape to the bathrooms. We enjoyed the quiet but also managed to create some noise in the pool, with pickle ball, and singing and dancing on the porch.It was nice to have a kitchen where we could sit and eat as a family and play a euchre tournament. Love the two refrigerators; one for food and one for drinks. Management was so easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. It was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great time.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025We had a group of 20 people that included our kids and grandkids ages 2 - 17, and we had a wonderful time here.The house was beautiful with an exceptional view of the mountains. Outside had lots of places to sit, a hot tub, outdoor games and a fireplace right outside of the living room. The lower level was a kids dream with the pool (which had an alarm, so great if you had kids), pool table, drive in movie theater and the arcade games. The riding ones were a hit with our grandkids.The kitchen was well stocked with 2 refrigerators, a large counter, every appliance you could think of and plenty of space for everyone to eat.The bedrooms were spacious and beautiful. The master bedroom was dreamy with the view of the mountains and with the fireplace in it also.The management was very easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly.A few things that were a negative to us, but definitely not something that would keep us from coming back were we had some issues with the door lock not opening when we would get back, we didn't have enough sheets for all of the trundle beds, there were NO pool towels, and I was surprised that there were no spices or things like tin foil, plastic wrap or bags like we have had in all of our other rentals, but to be fair, they did not say there were any, so we did bring our own. The beds are just ok, new mattresses and bedding would be nice. Any issues we had, the management did take care of immediately.We would absolutely go here again!

Stayed Jun 23, 2025The house and the view are amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Plenty of kitchen utensils, dishware and cookware. However, the house does need a good deep cleaning. The drive to the house is winding but so worth it when you arrive.

Stayed May 17, 2025Absolutely loved our stay at Dancing Fox! Would definitely recommend! If we had any concerns or questions, sending a message got us an answer very quickly. The views are to die for! The only suggestion we would have is maybe a few more outdoor chairs by the gas fire pit on the lower deck. We even got up one day to use the hot tub and when we walked out on the deck we got to see 2 black bears coming up the driveway which was so cool. Great place!

It was spotless upon check in and the amenities this home had was just out of this world! The kids loved the pool and the theater room. We absolutely loved this home!!

Stayed Jan 20, 2025My daughter and her fiancé had a small destination wedding in Wears Valley. This house was perfect for 15 adults and 5 kids to enjoy the wedding week. The views were amazing and good time was had by all. The staff was quick to respond to any concerns that arose.

Stayed Jan 16, 2025I would give this house a 10 out of 10! The kids had a wonderful time in the pool and the parents didn't have to worry to much with in being 3 1/2 ft, and if they weren't in the pool they were playing games or watching a movie in the theater. The room were nice and big for the family's to enjoy and the master room all the kids loved taking a shower in the car wash shower. We really liked the house and would highly recommend it to our friends and family
