It was a rainy weekend but we enjoyed our stay in playing board games and eating soup. Fishing when we could. Surrounding towns are peaceful with hidden scenic and service gems. Sand Lake was so pretty every morning. Great stay!!
Clean and quiet
The cabin was very clean organized provided a lot of items that I did not have to bring. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much I will definitely be back.
Comfortable, clean and well stocked.
Nice, spacious cabin, fully equipped. Easy access to lake, lovely place.
I am definitely going to book you again, It was clean the cabin was adorable and close to locations to visit and the lake is beautiful,
Lance was the wonderful host. The cabin was clean, well equipped with kitchenware. Nice stay.
This cabin was the perfect place for a reunion with college friends. The yard is spacious for playing lawn games and we enjoyed hanging out around the campfire. There is plenty of parking for friends driving from different locations. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. There are many activities to do in the surrounding area. Check-in and communication with the host was smooth.
We were here to visit family and this was an ideal jumping off point for Newaygo. This is our second stay and.we will definitely be back!
Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Beds were more comfortable than others houses we've stayed at. Would recommend. Note: the house is a bit more east (by about 100 feet) than where Google maps directed us. The owners have a big address sign out front to make it easy to find.
We stayed at this little house/cabin over Christmas and it was everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the ambience was perfect for snowy days and Christmas celebration and the Christmas lights were a nice touch, making things feel festive away from home and providing some night lights for all. It was VERY COLD OUTSIDE while we were here and although the furnace had to run often to maintain a comfortable temperature, we remained snug and warm inside. The room with bunkbeds was perfect for kids and the master bedroom was thoughtfully appointed. The recessed lighting over the bed was great for a nighttime reading. The living space was plenty spacious enough for all to lounge and enjoy a movie or streaming show on the DVD player or smart TV. The wifi was essential for me as I was doing some work in the area and it was reliable and plenty fast. Would stay again. :)
The pictures do not do it justice. Walked in and was instantly happy. Plenty of supplies (eg towels and pots) Very scenic in hidden in the middle of farm land. Very quiet. Maybe because it was off season. My only complaint because I am a city boy is the distance to Little Ceasars.
I stayed with one friend in the cabin and we had a wonderful stay. Everything worked perfectly, there were PLENTY of pots and pans for cooking, which was lovely, and everything was very clean. The only warning I’d give anyone looking at staying here is that the second bedroom is definitely a hunting cabin bunk bed. Be prepared for cramped quarters in that room.
The property was very quiet and I was able to focus. The lake was a nice distraction when my mind needed a break. I appreciated the large dining room table that allowed me to spread my work out and still have room to eat meals. This was a perfect property for my purpose.
A cozy rustic cabin in the woods with lake access. Great central location for day trips to Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Grand Haven, and Traverse City.
Comfortable and very clean. Found everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this cozy and perfect cabin.
The cabin was very nice, located in a quiet neighborhood. We were blown away when we entered, more than we anticipated. The location was perfect, centered to the 3 towns we were going to, Fremont, grand Rapids, and muskegon. Really enjoyed our stay, already discussing our next trip...
Such an amazing time at the cabin! We stayed for a week and the cabin had everything needed, we just had to bring food. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, fishing in Muskegon river, and visiting Muskegon State park. Along with barbecuing and making s’mores, we went to Michigan Adventures. It rained one of the days, so we played games and had so much fun. The owners are the best! It was a week of relaxing that we enjoyed. We are already planning our next trip!
Amazing getaway to relax!
Stayed for 3 days with our daughter and granddaughter. Cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us. Beds were comfortable, kitchen a decent size. Great yard to hang out in.
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the games, plenty of room, comfortable beds, kitchen had all necessary pots, plates, cups and cutlery. Very clean nice cabin.
Family of four enjoyed a much needed vacation at this property. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Close lake access, cozy but clean property, and the owner lives right next door and was very kind and hospitable. We will definitely return in the future.
We LOVED this place! The house had everything you could need and more. 10 out of 10! Will be back!
Our experience was wonderful. The owners are directly next door which leaves communication wide open. They told us where the two hammocks were located which we really enjoyed in their wooded area. Beach access is easy and not far at all. Friendly neighborhood. They sell firewood which makes it super convenient. Would definitely recommend.
We boyfriend and I had a great time in this cute cabin for 4 days. It had everything we needed and it was a great place to get away from the big city.
Great place to stay!! Owners were very nice!
