Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at Shiloh House! The river is right outside and the house is on stilts, which meant breathtaking views every day! The house is super spacious and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need and very well organized, the games, the books, the seating areas... all very thoughtfully arranged and selected. We took out the canoes every day and it couldn't have been easier. Easy communication with Diana with effortless entry and exit. Definitely recommend!

Our hosts thought of everything! Great communication and the house had everything we needed. Our son loved being right by the river and hanging out by the fire pit to make s’mores.

The photos are accurate, this is a beautiful home with a very responsive and welcoming host. Very comfortable layout. Remote and peaceful. River is fun for fishing, boating and 30 mins to hiking. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I wanted a quiet getaway so we could just push back and recharge. Shiloh was perfect. The property is exactly as the pictures depict though it was much larger than I had expected. The house is pristine and had a beautiful, clean scent throughout. The bedrooms were comfortable and sitting areas were plentiful. We opted to stay in place and just enjoy the amazing views of the river. It was perfect for our needs. A big plus - any questions I had were responded to promptly by Diana. It was nice knowing she was readily available for any needs. Shiloh gets high marks all the way around.

This was a great cabin right on the river! It was so easy to get to. The priority is beautiful and it was so peaceful. The fire pit was nice to chill at the end of the day. The accommodations at the cabin were plentiful .I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This is one the nicest, cleanest properties we’ve stayed, ever. It was well taken care of, very clean, in a great location, and well stocked. We’ve been coming to Luray for many years and have stayed in many homes. This is at the top of our list and we will definitely be coming back. Communication with the owners was great and this was a wonderful trip. We only wish it was longer!

Our family of 8, including 4 kids and 2 grandparents, enjoyed this property! It's a bit off the beaten path (which is what we were looking for) - we all enjoyed the canoes/kayak, my boys brought their fishing stuff, and we all loved the porch and firepit. The house was very well stocked, making it easy to prepare a few meals in the kitchen/on the grill! I loved that there was a washer/dryer and all the details were thought of... from bathroom supplies, to games/books, and everything we needed to enjoy our time. We were in the area for Shenandoah and the Luray Caverns, and the drive to each wasn't too far and was quite pretty. Thank you for a great place to stay!!

We had a fantastic weekend at this property. The house is lovely, located in a peaceful area that’s perfect for unwinding. The river access was a highlight—we swam, relaxed, and truly enjoyed the serene surroundings. The view from the deck is absolutely gorgeous. It’s an excellent place to disconnect, recharge, and take in the natural beauty.

The property was beautiful and clean and a great location on the river.

The river is beautiful. The deck seating is set up in such a way that it is easy to just relax. One of the best features is the awning that gives wonderful shade as you watch canoers go by or just enjoy the view. Another real advantage with the property is how easy it is to get information that you may need. Can you tell me where there is a pitcher? Got an answer back right away. And it was right where they said it would be. I hated to leave and hope to be back. I highly recommend this home.

The Shiloh Lodge was great for me and my two grown children. The rooms were perfect, Diana was the most communicative host I have ever had! She was very helpful with any requests we had. The canoes and kayaks around the river were amazing! Would highly recommend this place to friends!

The house was very clean and well laid out. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The deck was great for sitting out with coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The adirondack chairs right on the river, with the firepit were a great way to enjoy the views of the Shenandoah River and the mountains in the distance. Found several good restaurants and shops in Luray. Enjoyed visiting Luray Caverns which are not too far away. Host Diana was very responsive to all my inquiries. I would stay here again.

Shiloh lodge is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos. It is an extremely cozy and homey place to stay that is full of amenities and conveniences. Access to the water could not be easier. And the included boats were in good condition. The internet signal was great. Everything was extremely clean and the inclusion of a washer and dryer is a great bonus. The host was incredibly kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. 10/10 would recommend.

A home away from home! We had a fabulous stay - doing day hikes in the national park (Thornton Gap is an easy 30min drive) and spending family time cooking, playing games in the evenings. We appreciated all the nice details Diana arranged for our stay. So glad we chose this location!

Beautiful river front spot. Kids and adults jumped into the canoes and kayaks and had a blast while we stoked a fire. Great spot and Luray is our favorite town in the country low hills in VA.

We have rented Shiloh Lodge several times for fishing and hunting. The guys love this lodge. Convenient to the river and hunting across the road.

Property exceeded our expectations. Very clean, beautiful views of the river. Property mgr was awesome in communication. Checked on us regularly and gave us ideas of things to do. Will definitely return. Very relaxing weekend.

It’s a huge and beautiful house.It’s very Clean and convenient. They have basic seasonings in the house. Tons of board games. We had a great time cooking outside at the fire pit. Diana the host is friendly and gave some recommendation with the hiking trails. Highly recommended!! And we will come Back again .

Property is top-notch. It had everything and Diana put it over the top with additional organization. The property is beautiful - perfectly tranquil location on large bend in the river. We lived at the fire pit and loved every second of it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shiloh Lodge! Great house right on the river, excellent great room with large smart TV, well stocked modern kitchen, comfortable beds, and nice decor; we could not have asked for more. Practically perfect in every way.

We had the best time at Shiloh Lodge, the location and house are both fantastic. The view of the river can't be beat, and the house is beautiful. I worked from the house a bit, and the Starlink worked flawlessly. Everyone was comfortable and really enjoyed disconnecting and being out with Nature. The river doesn't really get deep, so the kids were able to stand up and explore just about the entire way across, canoeing and kayaking was enjoyable, and we got some fishing in too! Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were great as well, we used a handful of them and they were always spot on. Really glad we chose this house and location! Thanks Diana!
