Waterfront cabin Retreat! Centrally Located

This property is amazing if you're looking to stay away from the noise of the city, but still be pretty close to it. It was nice and quiet - with all the wonderful sounds of nature. It's a great place for birding - chickadees, cardinals, and Carolina wrens are the most common visitors, but there were so many other visitors too! The location was centrally located to everything we had on our trip wish list - lots of state parks and national park system lands. Communication with the host for check in, check out, and any other things that popped up was great. The house itself is great for a couple or small family - we had our 2 year old with us. We brought a cot for him, but of course he slept with us and the bed was big enough for him to sleep between us perpendicular lol. We used the rental as more of a hub and didn't spend much time during the day there as we were out exploring, but it was comfortable and had the basics we needed in the kitchen. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here, and would rent it again if we come back to the area.

This was the perfect weekend getaway!! The host was gracious enough to allow us to host an event on the property, and we enjoyed the next day all to ourselves. Communication was punctual and the place itself is very clean. The sunrises are gorgeous and as a nature lover, hearing all kinds of birds while looking across the marshlands was amazing. I will definitely be booking again!!!

Loved the really unique location - right on the edge of a salt marsh. It felt very private, even though it wasn't that remote. Very clean, check in very organized, owners very responsive. A little understocked (corkscrew, blow dryer), but I think this is a new rental, so that will undoubtedly improve.

Host was very welcoming and quick to respond to messages, and provided great recommendations for food and hiking trails near the cabin. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is quiet and offers beautiful views.
