Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our entire family had a wonderful experience staying in the Haynes Hideaway cabin. It was roomy but with such a cozy feeling. All of our needs were there for our stay inside to include outside the grill and fire pit. We enjoyed relaxing outside as well with the beautiful pool and landscape around us. We hiked the trails and played golf in the commons. We did drive over to Kingsland and ate at Boat Town Burger Bar which was very good. Definitely would recommend Log Country Cove to others.

The swimming pool at Haynes is right out the back door and very shady.

Reviewer Comments: We love the property and amenities with the trampoline, rope swing,golf pools, lake etc. My family especially loved their ice cream snow cone truck feature.There were some issues with the house cleanliness; the floors didn’t feel clean, there was several trash items in the bathroom behind the toilet and the upstairs rooms were muggy. The other issue was with the slow WIFI and TVs. The remotes and systems were confusing - it looked like the router had a broken piece or issue causing the problems?The only other issues were the flies and mosquitoes. My family has so many bites and we could not eat outside because of the flies swarming around the pool. Not sure if spraying regularly would help?

My only suggestion is the path between the two houses was a little treacherous. If they could trim those trees and put in a floating deck or flagstone path connecting them, that would be helpful.My feedback is that the place is clean and well-kept and I had a great stay overall.

Reviewer Comments: Our rental cabin, Haynes Hideway is a nice place for a Reunion. We have been coming here since 2017. Always clean and has plenty of room for 6 grown men to stay.We left our place we had been staying to 25 years in Kingsland, TX because, they kept increasing the lease and we just got tired of it.Log Cabin Cove has had some increases since 2017 but mostly, they have been fair to us.

We had an amazing time. The house is great feels like we're in the mountains in the beautiful Log Cabin. The pool was so refreshing and we love that it's right up by the house so we can watch the kids even if we're inside. The property is full of trees and sits right on a Waterway and it's quiet. Log Cabin Cove with so much fun we played volleyball the kids jumped in the trampoline out in the lake we rented a pontoon went kayaking stand up paddle boarding you name it we did it

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived there were wet spots in the master bedroom. I called the office, they sent out maintenance who blew out the AC system. They also sent out an AC company. He came over and told us there could be some residual water dripping. Instead, the floor had very wet spots that we walked around. The games in a closet in the room looked like they had been wet and dried several times. Bottom line, the day after we got home I came down with pneumonia which necessitated 4 days in the hospital. The walls were dusty and for a house that sleeps 18 there were: 3 soup spoons, 5 teaspoons,13 salad forks, 6 dinner forks, 5 dinner knives. Carpet in den and master bath were dirty. Bathroom lights needed replacing and plugs were so loose so devices wouldn't stay plugged in. Very disappointed and still recovering from pneumonia.
