Warm & Cozy Clayton Cabin Near St Lawrence River!

Nice house for a little getaway. The pricing may have been a bit high for what it was. The heat and tv were not easy to figure out, when we got there 2 windows were wide open. I feel like it hadn't been occupied in some time cause it could have been cleaner. Wasn't dirty by any means, just dusty and things could have been touched up. For the price per night I expected more. Not complaining, just probably wouldn't stay here again.

Such a cozy, homey cabin with great amenities. Well stocked kitchen, towels, great TV in the living room. Lots of outlets, lights, etc. VERY quiet neighborhood. Very nice and friendly neighbors as we took frequent strolls. This was our first visit to Thousand Islands and our stay was made even better by staying in the Clayton Cabin.

It is difficult for me to write this review. I don't like to complain, but I felt it necessary to share an honest opinion of this home. First, the home is a beautifully constructed. You can see the attention to detail and love that was put into the home and the gardens. It is in a great location. The neighbors are very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them while on our evening walks. That being said, when we arrived, the gardens in the front were full of leaves and debris that covered the welcome mat, the deck was dirty and the railings in the back had a lot of spider webs. We did not use the gas grill as it was filthy and had old dirty aluminum foil in it. When we went around to the back deck we noticed that the awning was broken and left on a heap on the deck. There were no nice deck chairs or patio table. Also, there was an old bird nest on the deck light with their waste below. I swept the deck and some spider webs. It was a job I didn't need as we traveled 6 and 1/2 hours to get there. The kitchen was clean and was well appointed. The dishwasher handle was taped on with duct tape. We didn't use it. The microwave, stove, and oven did work well. We brought our own coffee maker. The bathrooms were clean except for the rugs that were very dirty. In the living room area I noticed a light just behind an easy chair that the shade was broken and looked sharp. We didn't use that light. We did enjoy the location of this property and its proximity to the boat launches. We did have fun fishing the beautiful St Lawrence River. The Evolve representative was easy to communicate with.

The home was beautiful and very clean. All amenities were accessible. The instructions for the house were clearly stated and the ability to contact the contact person was easy.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. It was extremely clean and comfortable! Just outside of Clayton, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were not on the water but could see the water from the large deck. We were able to walk to an amazing local restaurant called Foxy's, where we enjoyed a delicious meal. Our only very, very minor issues were with figuring out the television (we are not as techie as we thought) and the lack of seating on the deck. There was only one chair outside so we brought a chair out so we both could sit. We will definitely rent this cabin again if we are in the area but will be sure to bring our passwords for Netflix, etc and some folding chairs for the deck!

Family stayed there for a wedding weekend.

Every year I come up to Clayton for the great fishing. Was staying at a hotel for years until the price became insane. Found this lovely cottage for a great price. The location was beautiful and the staff of the property management company was just a phone call away for any issue that arose. Highly recommend for a quiet trip.

Wonderful clean cabin in the Thousand Islands area. Great for family/friends, enjoyed our stay there. Pictures on site were exactly as shown. The only issue we had was trying to watch TV, we were trying to get a local channel to watch the Olympics, but tv wasn't equipped to do that, an antenna would have solved the problem.

We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday with my sister and brother-in-law and we couldn't have been happier with the location, the neighborhood and views. Christine was wonderful to speak with and we enjoyed everything during our visit. Thank you! Tammy Villanueva

This cabin was so perfect! We really enjoyed the location being right between Clayton and Alexandria Bay and so close to the River. The cabin was beautiful and clean and we were surprised at how disability accessible it was!
