Walk to Fox Lake: Pet-Friendly A-Frame w/ Fire Pit

House was clean and fully stocked .

The property is great and located nearby to find of outdoor activities. The home has all the amenities you could need. I would've given 5 stars but there were some things that needed addresses... the lack of enough plates and bowls versus the 50 cups available, the lack of privacy with the downstairs bedroom door, and the broken stair rail, also the place was pretty dusty. I don't expect perfection, but for the price, felt those items should be addressed.

Inside the house was very comfortable and met our away from home needs. Would have been nice if the grass would have been mowed for our visit. We have a Chihuahua and the grass was taller than him. Also, the fenced backyard was one of the major draws to this property but the fence was very poorly maintained.

Perfect stay for a group enjoying the area! Easy check-in, comfy beds, clean and well stocked supplies, good WiFi! 5 min to MI Adventure, 20 to Craig’s Cruisers, 20 to Getty Drive-In, multiple parks, lakes & beaches nearby. Fenced backyard for kids or pets to play in, quiet setting with nice fire pit to hang out by and enjoy the night sky!

Super cute A frame cabin in the woods. Check in was easy once we found the lock box, kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for the dogs but there was a terrier sized hole in it so did have to watch the dogs while they were out. Beds were comfy and bathroom was fully stocked!

Beautiful house! Wonderful place to stay!

The rental was absolutely adorable. Very nice, clean, tasteful home and decor- nice amenities and appliances & felt very new, clean and fresh. (Loved having vacuum by the door to do quick cleanings in house AND car!)One bathroom is a little tight at times for our family of 6, but we knew that going in. Three stars for location because it is Extremely rural / rocky roads and not really walkable to food or shopping. On the flip side of this, the area is very quiet and peaceful if that is more what you are looking for! Also very drivable distance into Whitehall or Muskegon - I just wished we could have picked up this great little home and plopped it right down into one of those places. (Also very buggy but also, yay, nature!)Hosts have done a great job with this place and our family truly enjoyed our time there. Thank you!!

I liked the location. We were close to Duck Lake, Lake Michigan and of course Fox Lake. I do wish there was a blind for the back bedroom. I also feel that there should be a can opener in the home. One bathroom worked for our group, because there were little kids involved, but this may be difficult if it involved more adults. Overall the location and amount of rooms worked for us. I did have to clean the drain in the bathroom in the tub, so cleaning service should look for that in future.

This home was just right for our family of 4 and our furry friend. Convenient fenced back yard and cozy interior. Close enough to Sliver Lake and dunes which we visited and also downtown Muskegon. Kitchen had what we needed for utensils, plates, and coffee mugs, but bring any spices you need, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Overall a great stay!
