Walk to Arrowhead Lake: Cabin w/ Private Hot Tub!

First when we got there it was extremely hot came to find out there are no air conditioners in the whole house. contacted the host , said that it was mentioned in the listing, I checked there was nothing that said no a.c. They did leave plenty of fans around the house but they were so noisy! The weather did cool down so Thank God for that. We also voice our concern that there were spider webs, by the hot tub outside and inside the windows, the host said we rented a cabin in the woods so basically deal with it. We’ve stayed at the lake before and that cabin was clean inside and out! Also noticed that the mattress covers they had had yellow stains with blood stains along with most of the pillow covers as well! !! I sent a picture to the host and they send someone to drop off a new mattress cover , I asked them how did they know what bed since they sent a new mattress cover for That specific bed size they knew it was stained!!! This is totally unacceptable! We politely asked some partial refund so we can look for something else in the area the host replies “ these are the fees , there’s nothing they can be done and that you can’t be pleased “ how can someone say that ?? The outside didn’t have any lights, only one light that had sensors on so would turn off when we were just sitting by the fire pit or hot tub and it would Be pitch black!! One of the chairs by the fire pit had a big hole in it ! I mean take Better care of your property!!! Big waste of money! Do NOT RENT!!!

This was the first time I've ever rented a property, instead of a hotel, for a vacation. My expectations were highly exceeded. The property owner was more than helpful at clearing up any questions I had with the booking and access process. The cabin is cuter in person! The kitchen is fully stocked of cookware and dishes. There was everything you needed (sponges, dish soap, cleaners, kitchen towels) to have a fully functional kitchen without bringing from home. The beds and pillows were all comfortable. The cleanliness of the bedroom and bathrooms were satisfactory. The hot tub was so nice in a cooler afternoon! Even though there are neighbors nearby, you still have privacy in the hot tub area. I just can't say anything bad about our experience! We will be booking again next year for sure.

This was my first time renting a property, instead of getting a hotel for a trip. My expectations were exceeded and then some. Everything was clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, etc. And the hot tub made the getaway unforgettable!

We had a great stay at this cabin! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was seamless and efficient, making everything stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-maintained retreat!

This place was so cute for our first little vacation. Very clean and had everything we could have needed. Definitely recommended to our friends.

Cabin was very nice and cozy. Has all that one needs, but a few things to consider - in summertime, there is no airconditioning. This was a surprise and a bit of an issue due to the warm weather. Also no gas grill, so not able to barbeque, which would have been nice. Else all was really superb.

We booked this as our first family vacation with our daughter and it was magical! She had the best time, it was so close to the lake (just a 3 min walk max), so many community pools nearby and just a 25 minute drive to town. If you’re looking at a beautiful home to stay in with your family for a fun and low key vacation, I highly recommend booking.

We really enjoyed our time at Orono! The place was very close to the beach and our kiddos were able to walk with us - although the street is a little busier than we expected. Everything we could want was in the neighborhood and good dinner spots were not far; was also a quick drive to town for extra supplies if we needed them. We will be back!

We had such a great time staying at this cabin by the lake! It was very clean and a quick walk to one of the beaches, so an excellent location. The amenities in the Arrowhead Lake community are wonderful, there was a ton of activities for my children to enjoy. The only downside to our stay was that there is no air conditioning in the cabin, and although many fans were provided, they didn’t keep up to the heat that we experienced and made the living quarters uncomfortable at times.

Was a great place to get away for the weekend .
