My friends and I book this cabin every year to see the fall foliage. The layout is perfect for the 7-10 people we have on any given year. This place never disappoints. The owner is very responsive as well.
Been visiting Shenandoah Nat Park for 20years and 6 different cabins around the Luray region. This cabin is by far our favorite! 3rd time and nary a regret! Always clean, modern, manager is immediately responsive, and super fun times! Can’t wait for next year!
Nice cozy cabin with awesome views. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Would definitely recommend this property!
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub!!!
The views from this property were amazing. The cabin itself was adorable. Very clean, but bring extra paper towels and trash bags. I would definitely recommend this house and would 100% stay here again. It’s close to the Luray Caverns and a Walmart/grocery store.
Amazing view of the mountains ! The saltwater pool and hot tub were wonderful. The weather was not the best, but we were able to use it 2 days. The cabin overall had everything we needed to have a relaxing week and to make many memories with our friends and family. I would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful view and tastefully decorated - we had a great time!
Our group of friends keep coming back each year to this house and have never been disappointed
This was one of the most beautiful cabins we have been to! From the outside we weren’t sure if it would fit all of us but man it is huge from inside! The house was well equipped, no complaints on anything. We did find it difficult to get to the cabin in one of our minivans because of the slippery road and incline. But overall we had a very pleasant stay, beautiful views and a peaceful and enjoyable time! Will definitely book again.
Make sure you have your 4x4 ready, but the drive up was totally worth it. Great location and great views. Can't wait to visit again sometime soon. Comfortable beds and great air conditioning.
The cabin itself was clean and everything in was in good working condition if a little worn. Wi-fi worked fine although cell coverage was a little spotty. Views are lovely. The two biggest issues were the access and the pool/outside area. The road up to the cabin is a bit nightmarish- huge divets and trenches up a rocky (not gravel- rocks) one lane road. If you pull into the upper driveway there is no way to turn the car around and you need to back out very carefully. I can't imagine driving it in the winter. The other issue was the pool and land surrounding the cabin. As we do whenever we rent, we tested the pool water with a chlorine/ph kit before getting in. There was no chlorine in the pool- level registered 0; while the filter was working it's likely the chlorine content is not set high enough to compensate for all the rainfall dilution. We would not use the pool without adequate chlorine, and yet the pool was one of the biggest reasons we selected this property. The land around the cabin is not suitable for dogs- rocks, steep slope, construction like debris. We had to bring our own sheets and towels. This was clearly pointed out to us by the owner, but no one wants to come home from vacation and do more laundry- especially since the property does not have a washer & dryer. This just felt a little too rustic for us. The dog was uncomfortable and so were we. We checked out early.
Had a great time, thank you.
Very nice and peaceful
We really enjoyed our getaway
The view was great! Cabin not so much. Our towels and sheets didn’t get delivered until 9 pm, there was a leak on kitchen floor and under kitchen sink. We couldn’t reach the ceiling fan chains to turn fans off in upstairs bedrooms. Sliding door wouldn’t lock in living room and no lock on bedroom sliding door. Oven and one burner didn’t work. We ran out of water and had to wait until it got switched over before we could shower and clean up. The hot tub wasn’t filled up all the way and dirt and grit in the bottom of it. Not steps to get into hot tub either. Water stunk so bad we had to get some candles to get rid of odor!
Super enjoyable weekend getaway with the family! This is our second stay at this property and it is by far our favorite in the Shenandoah Area. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
