We loved the kitchen with all the cookware and dishes. We had everything we needed. I brought my own waffle maker & all our own spices & foods. We saw turkeys & elk every day while eating breakfast & playing games.

Cute cabin, very private , but no extras. No dish washer or washer soap , and bring your own blow dryer. We booked 4 days and had two coffee packs left for the coffee pot, no sweetners or creamer, so go shopping before you arrive.

This was a super cozy cabin, although we had 5 people and we could have used another chair.

This was a wonderful cabin to stay with our family and pup. We enjoyed the privacy of this cabin being at the end of the road. We saw so much wildlife from the comfort of the living room, it was awesome! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a lack of cleaning supplies (there was only about 1/4 roll of paper towels) and although they left us wood for woodstove there was no kindling or hatchet to make some.

Loved the house and area, road in kind of sucked for a one ton truck pulling a 20’ trailer but we did just fine once situated. Very quiet and full of game animals morning and evening ! Mid September and the local elk were all over, burgling and singing their song of fall. Would recommend to any one wanting a very comfortable remote cabin not far from town and the convinces of fuel, bars and great food. You need to check out the area back roads. Beautiful and serine. Huckleberry pickers would also benefit from this place as bushes are plentiful in the surrounding Boise forest. High recommendation from me and my friends. The company that services the rental is very helpful and it is a very pet friendly property! My dog loved watching the deer and turkeys every morning be fore I left for my gold mining claim in close by Placerville. Great place to explore and see the back country of the Boise basin!

Very quiet location. The cabin was nice but the floors inside were dirty. The kitchen is nice but there are no spices, not even salt or pepper. Make sure you pack all your own seasonings for the food you cook and bring Saran Wrap, foil and baggies.

Family weekend trip. The cabin was so beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. We saw elk, peacocks, deer and fawns on the property. We enjoyed the short drive to Terrace Lakes Resort to swim. We had everything we needed to BBQ and eat in at the cabin. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. The scenery and views were amazing at the cabin. The fire pit was great for s’mores. The whole trip was great!! Thank you!!

The views from the cabin are amazing. It snowed a few days I was there and I could see the valley as the snow fell. It's so peaceful and secluded up there. The communication with Karen was great. She did everything she could to help me with what I needed. I will be back!

We had the best family getaway at the hideaway. Loved the location and saw wildlife daily. Well stocked and very clean. Would absolutely love to spend more time here! The only thing I would recommend is installing curtains or blinds in the upstairs bedroom. Felt weird to not be able to close off the night.

My family and I stayed at this cabin for a week. It was quiet and clean with three bedrooms. It has nice newer appliances, but still feels like a cabin on the inside. It was perfect for our family. The air conditioning was perfect for a week of 100 degree temperatures. The road into the cabin is a little rough, but our FWD minivan did just fine, and it’s not very far off the main road. We saw multiple deer walking the property nightly. We brought our dog and he loved the property too. Would definitely come back.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor area of this cabin. It had a nice deck that has a little morning sun, and then is shaded the rest of the day. The deck overlooks a shaded area with a fire pit. Camping with comfort!

We were very happy with this property. It was clean and nicely updated. Plenty of dishes and nice cookware. The location at the end of the road is nice and private even though there are nearby neighbors. Lots of trees, plenty of parking. We enjoyed the covered deck mornings and evenings when it wasn't as hot. Also, the A/C was a plus!
